Ylikiiming has a lot of hiking trails, cloudberry meadows and berry patches. You can rent kayaks, forest snowshoes or snowshoes from us. Affordable wilderness guide services, e.g. canoeing trips, if possible. Well-equipped campfire place in the yard. Spacious bathroom and wood-fired sauna. Towels and linens are included.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

The cottage has a traditional Finnish wood sauna and a real shower in the dressing room connected to the sauna. The cottage is very traditional, slightly modernized. Great lake view from the terrace! There is no indoor toilet in the cottage. Instead, there is a traditional Finnish outdoor toilet, which is located in the yard. This offers a unique, authentic cottage experience close to nature!
