Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in North Vancouver

I stayed at this apartment from May 18th to June 3rd and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent — very safe and secure with underground parking that made it easy and worry-free to bring my car. Everything was within easy reach; multiple supermarkets, a shopping mall and both the bus/train station are just minutes away. The apartment itself had everything I needed in terms of amenities and the views were great — I especially loved looking out at Mount Baker from the balcony. It was a peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Gagan, the host was extremely helpful throughout my stay. She responded quickly to all of my questions and provided clear instructions for both check-in and check-out, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I would highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a girls weekend. The layout of the unit, the location, the decor and bathrooms were all great. Ubers were easy to get to and from the unit, and it made for a great homebase for us. My only gripe, if I had to find one was the fact that we needed to throw away our own trash at the end of our stay. The trash receptacles are all the way on the first floor behind several doors and a few long corridors, and because our flight was at 8am, we had to account for an extra 20 minutes to bring the trash down, bring our keys back up to the unit, and then head out. Otherwise, the views, location and comfort of the unit made for an excellent first visit in Vancouver.

Great place to stay! Clean, accessible, and Lucy was super helpful when our arrival plans got delayed.

Sam’s place worked out well for our family. It was easy to get to, and had a few decent eateries and a grocery store within walking distance. The apartment itself had amazing views of the stadium and downtown. It was very quiet in the home, despite being in busy downtown. The space met our needs and had great natural light. It is a very urban, downtown location with all the pros and cons that come with that, but was worth the convenience for us.

The hosts were super accommodating to a few requests we had before arrival and even getting us in the home earlier than expected. They were super communicative the whole time and assisted with any questions. Loved all the amenities and even left us a laundry card to do some laundry. Only thing off putting about the place was the surrounding area and maybe we should have done more research, but the homeless population in downtown Vancouver is scary. We watched a lot of homeless people and drug involvement around the streets of the home we stayed in and nearby restaurants.

This place was great for our family. Alexander is a great host. Very communicative and helpful. Went above and beyond for us on one need. Highly recommend this downtown loft!

This was our first trip to Vancouver (and in fact our first to Canada) and this apartment was perfect for us. It was incredibly clean, the bed was comfortable, Diana was a superb and responsive host - but it's the location of the apartment which makes this really stand out. It is surrounded by restaurants and bars - and is walking distance of all the main attractions in town. We went on walking tours, visited museums, took a boat to go whale watching (saw humpbacks and orcas!), visited comedy clubs - and ate out every night - all within walking distance of the apartment. It was really superb and if we were staying in town again, we would stay here again. The car park was easy to use, with decent sized spaces - so if you do have a rental car, this is again perfect (we went out to Whistler, and also drove out of town to walk a trail another day). Thinking of booking something in Vancouver? Book this! Oh and did I mention the bed was comfy too!? Thank you Diana, hope to visit again.

This is a great place, conveniently located between Gastown and Yaletown with easy access to public transportation and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. And it has a beautiful view of the city. Our family of five had plenty of room and a great time.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Adam & Hana's place! They are indeed very friendly and helpful. A walker and cyclist's paradise, the location is so central to everything yet peaceful and quiet like in a park. Don't hesitate to book it if it's available. High recommend!

Davis place is clean and tidy. It is walkable to Chinatown attractions. It is also conveniently located beside a Skytrain station and a big Asian supermarket.

We had a great stay at Kuz’s place! Very convenient location and it had everything we needed for a 5 night stay.

Michael was a fantastic host!! We cannot recommend him and his unit enough! He went above and beyond to make sure all instructions and directions were easy to follow. As soon as we walked in, we were SO impressed with how clean (thanks to the no shoes inside policy), organized and fully STOCKED everything was! This was by far the best AirBNB we have ever experienced. Everything you could have wished you had brought with you was already in the unit. The decor was beautiful and modern. The balcony view was amazing for morning coffee or evening tea outside. The entire building was extremely safe and clean. We enjoyed the amazing pool and jacuzzi with our children. There are AC units, as well as fans, that kept the unit nice and cool! Having the washer and dryer was SO helpful as well! The area is gorgeous and is surrounded by shops and restaurants! We walked around so much! Thank you Michael for an unforgettable vacation! We felt like we were at home after a long day of exploring!!!

Great base for exploring downtown Vancouver. Kitchen has everything you need and convenient to have laundry available when travelling. Elise is a kind and approachable host.

Really great apartment. I loved the views from the living room and balcony. Location was perfect too, everything on the door step and 15 min walk to the creek.

Demitri and Jessica’s place was by far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at! It was in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. 3 min walk to supermarket, 2 min walk to the bus stop, and 10 min drive to downtown Vancouver. Inside their home, you’ve got everything you could think of. The kitchen was fully equipped (I’m talking about different types of coffee maker etc). The interior was very spacious and comfortable for 4 adults. I especially love the thoughtful instructions placed around the house - which saved me time from searching for how things work. Demitri and Jessica put in so much effort running this place. I got multiple messages from them during my stay to make sure our stay was ok. I would 100% recommend staying at their place!

'Hollywood North' is a bit of a misnomer - the home is much more classic, warm and comfortable, with owners who provide timely and helpful communication and assistance. 'West Coast Charm and Grace' might be more descriptive. The cost of the accommodation, though not unsubstantial, was well worth it. We were a group of 9 adults from 2 branches of one family who meet every Thanksgiving to reconnect. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the 2 living areas, the dining room, the outdoor terrace, the swimming pool and hot tub, the gardens, and the very impressive kitchen all served to make the holiday one we will cherish. Everything you need to make the house your home was supplied - inspired us to stay in and cook as a family a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner! In short, a beautiful home and great hosts in a lovely setting. Could not ask for more.

Beautiful Comfortable home that was the ideal place to hunker down in some very I Rainy cold weather. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare good meals.

We had a great stay at Hubert’s place for 1 week. We stayed here during a multi day family wedding and the location was excellent. This was one of the main reasons we booked. Hubert’s place was only 5 minutes away from the main wedding house and it was close to coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The check in was a bit tricky with trying to get the lock box open but we managed to figure it out. A big draw of the property was the secure parking and security measures in place. We felt really safe in the building. We also did have all the basic necessities in the unit for our stay such as utensils, laundry, and a coffee machine. Hubert was also very quick to respond to any questions I had. Thank you!

We had a family of 5 to stay for 10 days and Nikos’ place was perfect for us! Nikos was always highly responsive and respectful and kind, no matter what we requested. The house is beautiful, well appointed, and very comfortable and clean. No complaints at all. It was nice to be able to walk to the local grocery store and cafe and bakery, and the location near campus was ideal for spending time with our daughter. We very much hope to stay here again when we return next year. Very highly recommended. 😊

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in David and Taylor’s home. The house is very clean and immaculate. The pictures do not do it justice. We were there to celebrate our son’s wedding. The lovely and spacious home allowed our group of 6 to cook meals together and to gather indoors or outdoors in the amazing heated patio area. We also enjoyed the clean hot tub, the lovely Koi Pond and the fire pit. Because there are so many different indoor and outdoor spaces, people could quietly slip away to another area of the home if they wished a few minutes of solitude. The house’s location is perfect and provided easy access to excellent trails for daily hiking and trail running. The well-equipped gym was a bonus. David is an outstanding host. He’s very responsive and worked hard to make sure everything was perfect. He is a wonderful human. We are all so grateful that we had such an amazing family experience. We highly recommend David and Taylor’s North Vancouver home.
