Holiday rentals with a patio in Northeast India

it was a great stay the only problem was of water, rest was okay really enjoyed it

Place situated near highway in a residential colony was easy to spot . Accomodation was as described in photos and evrything was well thought of , especially the terrace garden . House help was readily avlb . Basic amenities are nearby and fully stocked . Host is responsive, forthcoming and ensured the we felt at home. Highly recommended..

A Wonderful Stay at Zen House! I had an incredible experience staying at Zen House in Lower Bhanu Nagar Bazaar, Siliguri. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything was in perfect order, ensuring a comfortable stay. Host Diksha was exceptional—her hospitality made all the difference. From receiving us upon arrival to making sure every detail was taken care of throughout our stay, she truly went above and beyond. This is the ideal place for a family stay. The convenience of grocery shops right below the house makes it easy to get everything you need without any hassle. I highly recommend Zen House to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed stay in Siliguri!

Overall stay was great. Just few points so overall experience is enhanced for future guests. The water pressure in kitchen and bathroom was very low. A simple pressure pump with the help of a plumber should easily solve the issue. Also please provide a gas burner with pipe or cylinder gas connection. There was no dedicated parking for guests available though the listing mentioned parking.

Check in was very smooth. Fully satisfy with their service specially their 3 x meals, laundry and cleaning facilities. Very neat and clean space also well organized household equipments. Hope I will stay again in future.

I traveled with my parents, husband and kids (4.5 and 3). The moment we entered the place, it felt like home. We were familiar with the locality as we had already lived in the city earlier (my parents for 34 years and me 25 years). We intended to spend a lot of time at the property and just soak in the air of Shillong, and that was possible because the home provided us with enough space and facilities we could ask for. Dad loved the early morning sunlight on the terrace and did his exercises there. Kids loved the space inside and outside and played their hearts out. Kitchen and washing machine made our lives so much easier. Marc's caretaker was available to help us out with whatever we needed. The property is very old (traditional Assam cottage), and hence requires a slightly better maintenance. There are tiny bits all over the place that need some attention, but I suppose that a renovation is already in plan. Thanks for helping me create new memories with my kids!

Good stay did a photoshoot here, checkin was smooth checkout was satisfactory. The host was helpful and always reachable. Worth a stay if you are fascinated with heritage architecture.

One of the best Airbnb stays in Kolkata. House is in great condition with all the amenities mentioned. Quiet and safe neighborhood yet close to many restaurants, shopping and other things. Very easy to communicate with the hosts. Highly recommended. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay at James and Suzy’s homestay in Jowai. The space was perfect for two—cozy, clean, and surrounded by nature, which made it feel peaceful and refreshing. Though we didn’t interact much, the hosts were kind, helpful, and always responsive whenever we needed assistance. We did face a few minor issues like mosquitoes, a bit of water clogging in the washroom, and a weak Wi-Fi signal. But these didn’t take away from the overall charm of our stay. Jowai was the perfect base to explore the nearby attractions, and coming back to this little home at the end of the day was always comforting. Thank you, James and Suzy, for hosting us—we truly had a wonderful time!

Mr Anirban is a great host. Rooms are exact same with the pictures. I stayed with my family for 4 nights . This is my first booking on Airbnb. This property is good and worth to every single penny. We feel like our own home. My parents were so happy. They really like the rooms and space. Quiet and peaceful property.staff is great and good boys. You can order food. Down to our last breath along our stay, it was very peaceful....very comfortable & remarkable stay, awesome ambiance and extremely helpful and kind host. Every amenities were clean, never felt like we are staying at an Airbnb, it felt more like home. Very open minded and always ready to help host with an awesome response time. Smooth check-in and check-out, very quite environment, well lit rooms and had many decors with ambient lightings too. Basically an awesome stay to take a breather away from the commotion of Kolkata's city life.

We absolutely loved staying in the third floor studio of Lon and Scandy's Longwood Residences. Located in the heart of Laitumkhra, yet away from the hustle bustle of the busy main road. The studio is exactly as is shown in the photos. Everything was neat and clean. The terrace is a big bonus. We appreciated the attention to little details, of sharing information timely, a basket of fresh breakfast ingredients left at the door every evening. This was our home away from home! Highly recommended this place for a wondeful and tranquil stay in Shillong!
