One mile from Route 26! Charming apartment with private locked entrance and separate driveway attached to historic 1880s farmhouse in the foothills of Western Maine. Clean and cozy, it has one bedroom with a queen bed and two sofa sleepers which make it a great spot for a couple or a family of four. We're only fifteen minutes to Mt. Abram and 30 minutes to Sunday River. There's easy-access to snowmobile trails and Moose Pond right across the road. Oxford Casino is 30 minutes south.

For swimming, FREE docking for your boat to fish, water ski or just cruise in Thompson lake. 14 miles one of Maines cleanest lakes. 6 Bicycles, 2- kayaks, 2-16 ft canoes, a 14 ft rowboat, and a paddle boat, fishing gear, firewood available for guest at no charge for fire pit. Propane and charcoal barbeques available at cottage. THERE IS NO WIFI.

The Burrow at Patch Mountain

Surrounded by nature, this is a perfect getaway for anyone seeking an active outdoor adventure or a quiet restful retreat. The Burrow is a small studio cottage, set between two other buildings, on a wooded 4.5 acre property. It’s a peaceful, cozy space with a full size kitchen, views of the river and abundant natural light. Wren Cabin + Wood fired Sauna

We built the Wren Cabin to be a serene space filled with light and art and with lots of cozy details. Lofted ceilings, a spiral staircase and large open concept with lofted bedroom. The cabin also has a gorgeous wood-fired sauna for those colder days. Wren cabin has a large wraparound deck for relaxing and an outdoor fire pit, as well as shared access to Adams Pond. The space is modern Scandinavian, light and aery, and filled with thoughtful details.
