Welcome to L'Ours et Son Petit Oiseau (The Bear and his Little Bird), an ancient farmhouse set in 5 acres, with views over a wild valley, run with deer and wildlife. Cicadas and birds sing to the setting sun. Unwind in a hammock or wood-fired hot tub, cool off in the salt water pool, the get to know the many animals who call this place home. Wander through fields and vineyards to the winding streets of medieval Issigeac, in search of a boulangerie and a café for the afternoons.

Domaine de Malefon

In the heart of Périgord, the Domaine de Malefon is an old farmhouse renovated in the 17th century in 2016, where the authenticity of the building has been preserved with all modern comforts. The fully organic property is located in the middle of 54 hectares, it is composed of woods, meadows, truffle fields, walnut groves and orchards.  If you want to get away from it all while enjoying the must-see tourist attractions, the chartreuse is rented in its entirety for 14 people.

Your gite overlooks the valley with beautiful views and has a use of the land, swimming pool, garden with trees, a place for picnics and relaxation for you. Located within walking distance to the scenic village of Tremolat in the Dordogne, and immediate vicinity of the historic center and its amenities, Bars, restaurants, French market, are accessible in less than 5 mins on foot.
