Tucán Yaaxbache' Ecological Campsite

My name is Ismael Chansaap. Welcome! The Tucán Yaaxbache' Ecological Camp offers a place to be with nature and get to know my family and the way of life of the Lacandones. You can sleep in the dome, the cabins, or you can camp in our beautiful place near the river. We offer delicious homemade food for breakfast and dinner and there are vegetarian options. We can take you on walks to the jungle, waterfalls and the lost city and lagoons, to Bonampak and Yaaxchilan.

Disconnect inside the jungle and come into full contact with nature in our Eco Hotel designed and built by the hands of Lacandon Mayans with jungle materials, respecting each cycle for wood cutting and construction. You can do activities such as hiking to waterfalls, lost Mayan cities with Mayaslacandones guides. We will share our ancestral knowledge, just 3 km away, and other activities such as the Ruins of Bonampack 13 km away and Yaxchilan 45 km away.
