Hermoso lugar rodeado de manantiales de agüita termal, el lugar es bastante rústico muy lindo para salir de la rutina, si buscas desconectarte en familia es el lugar perfecto: las personas que atienden el lugar son súper amables y atentos, si no tienen ganas de cocinar, también te recomiendo la sopa de gallina deliciosa, sin duda volvería, puntos a tomar en consideración: sólo una habitación tiene Aire Acondicionado, aunque en la noche refresca bastante, la calle para llegar al lugar en esta época lluviosa se pone un poco lodoso

This place was great. Awesome hospitality. The space was more than enough room for 3 people with all the amenities that we needed and then some, the area was very secure. The beach is a short distance away and was beautiful. Cannot say enough how great the place was. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay.

The house was beautiful and as described. We took our grandmother there to get her out of her home in the city for a few days and it was just perfect. She was happy and at peace. It was worth it. The pool was great and the hosts were friendly.

We selected this home based on previous reviews and photos, and were so happy that we chose it! Roberto, Eneida and Monica were so gracious and hospitable. We appreciated the connections that Roberto helped us with , to have our day on the lake with jet skis for a couple of hours from a local rental...use of the kayaks on site....and the boat was available for rental if we wanted to use it. We were able to order some delicious papusas one evening, thanks to Roberto's help and willingness to row across the lake to get our order!! We loved having plenty of towels available, for pool and bathing, without having to bring them along in our suitcases!! The Host has responded to previous reviews and has a new refrigerator added to a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen! We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the amenities available! Our family enjoyed a couple of peaceful days together here, and we hope to be back for another enjoyable stay~ Thanks for sharing this beautiful space!

Dank der guten Beschreibung von Maurizio war die Hacienda einfach zu finden und die Anfahrt war auch mit einem normalen Auto sehr gut machbar. Das Anwesen ist traumhaft schön, weitläufig, sehr schön bewachsen und mit unglaublich viel Liebe gestaltet. Eine überaus gelungene Mischung aus Originalgegenständen der Hacienda mit marokkanische Kunst. Der Aufenthalt hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Die Hacienda ist einzigartig. Wir haben von dem Essensangebot Gebrauch gemacht, die Mahlzeiten waren großartig und Doña Alma und ihr Team tuen alles, dass man sich rundum wohl fühlt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die vielen unterschiedlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten, der tolle Ausblick, Jacuzzi, Hängematten…. und alles ist überaus gepflegt. Ein echtes Juwel mit viel Liebe und Herz geführt, Doña Alma hat unseren Aufenthalt einzigartig gemacht. VIELEN DANK!

We had an amazing experience at Joe's place in Xanadu. Although we came across a couple of glitches, Joe quickly responded to my messages and had assistance readily available. He's also a very caring host. One suggestion I would make is probably access to better internet or WiFi. During my stay, we had a couple of minor health issues going on and it took some effort to get a good signal to communicate with Joe, Uber drivers and other family members to ask for assistance. I found a few spots around the house with relatively good reception, however, in instances when it's hard to move around or want to stay away from the heat, a better signal would have taken that additional stress off. Other than that, Joe's place is wonderful and he is an amazing host. Highly recommend him and his place. Thank you for being such an amazing host.

Me siento muy agradecida con Oscar por la estadía en su casa porque fue una experiencia muy agradable y muy satisfactoria. Oscar como anfitrión es excelente. Respondía rápido, siempre estaba atento y su trato es muy especial. La casa es preciosa, se encuentra en un lugar tranquilo y estaba totalmente aseada y ordenada. What you see is what you get but one thing I would say , the WiFi is spotty most of the time and in the master bedroom , good luck . The WiFi 9/10 did not work even on the tv but besides that , 10/10 stay

El lugar fue perfecto para desconectarse. Todo limpio, rodeado de naturaleza y con un clima fresco que se disfruta al máximo. Luis fue muy atento durante toda la estadía. ¡Definitivamente volvería!

This was such an amazing house to stay in! It was spacious, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I stayed here with my two kids, and we all had a wonderful time from enjoying the pool to exploring the beautiful country around us. Lupita was absolutely incredible. She was always available when we needed her and even cooked for us, her food was amazing! God bless her. If you stay here, definitely reach out to Lupita for any services you might need she was such a great help and made everything so easy. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

La casa es un verdadero encanto, estructurada en diferentes niveles que miran al mar, cada espacio tiene su toque especial. Todo está pensado para relajarse y disfrutar. La playa Shalpa es simplemente espectacular. Es pequeña, tranquila, rodeada de naturaleza y aves, lo que te hace sentir como si estuvieras en un paraíso personal. Ideal para quienes buscan desconectarse y disfrutar de un entorno natural. Mi familia se la pasó increíble, todos quedamos encantados con el lugar. Sin duda, es un alojamiento altamente recomendado. ¡Volveríamos sin pensarlo!

Not an easy road to get to . It’s about 20 min dirt road. House and property keepers made our experience and were very attentive . Be prepared to kayak or rent a boat or jet ski since lake is deep and it’s a straight shot to dock not a swimming area . Pool is small as specified but good enough

Andres’s place was as amazing as advertised + more. The staff was awesome and helped us with everything we needed. Food was delicious. The house and its location are beautiful. Will absolutely be back! Thanks Ale and the rest of the staff, it is truly a special place.

This place was absolutely breath taking. Javier escorted us to his place and thank goodness he did because we would have been lost. Once we got to the lake house all our worries left. The views were stunning. Thank you to Manuel and Vilma for helping us during our stay.

The house and the property itself was incredible! The view through the day is breathtaking and will never get old. Jaime and Sandra are very kind and helpful with any questions you have. Love direct access to the beach and the pool is a great size for the family too! Cannot wait to stay here again, pictures do not do justice just how beautiful it is.

Una casa cómoda, ordenada y muy bonita, tiene diferentes lugares donde descansar, los cuartos son muy amplios y muy bien equipados, un lugar perfecto para relajarse y apreciar la vista del lago. Los que cuidan el lugar son amables y atentos. Tomar en cuenta que por ser una zona con muchos árboles y montañas a los alrededores hay muchos insectos, por lo que se recomienda llevar repelente.

We loved Monty’s house. It is exactly what it shows in the pics. I hated leaving the peaceful sounds of the sea to come home. It’s well maintained and close to everything that you could need. The caretakers were very helpful. Would love to stay here again.

Great stay!! In walking distance to all the restaurants and local shops. The beds were so comfy and the hot water a plus. The breakfast is included and it was delicious. 10/10.

We loved our stay. The property is beautiful, we had everything we needed for a relaxing time. We loved having Coco join our family for our stay. The pool was great for cooling down. My husband is originally from Santa Ana and this was our first time visiting the country and his first time back in over 30 years. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

What an amazing week in El Salvador! Tyler and Eva were so helpful and responsive as we prepared for our visit and during our stay. The home and setting was perfect for my family (including our 5 kids). All the windows and breezes from ocean, so peaceful! The beach was accessible everyday, thou late afternoons the tide was high (and waves rough) so we opted for pool during those times. It was our first visit to El Salvador and we took many day trips from our house to coffee farm, cacao farm, surfing and volcanos. It was great location for these many excursions. We used nearby el Zonte and el Tunco for wonderful dinner options each night. Thank you so much for our stay!

Magnificent experience. Casa Alta in Xanadu is one of those heavenly places in my country that fulfills everything a tourist is looking for... to escape from a routine life and enter another where you can admire the majestic sea in all its splendor from any location on this beautiful property with open spaces, spacious rooms, and a spacious and well-equipped kitchenette. As someone who works in hospitality, I want to mention the excellent service that Edwin and Maritza provided us during our stay, making it even more memorable for me and my family. Lots of natural light, big windows. Gorgeous pool that was cleaned every day Close to El Tunco Supermarket, coffee, food across the street Beachfront Host always around & extremely helpful Yard maintained very well Gated & fenced. Always felt safe.

La casa es espectacular! Cada rincón de la casa ha sido detallado cuidadosamente para hacer de la casa un lugar acogedor y cómodo para los huéspedes. El lugar impecable. Todo limpio y arreglado. Norma y Jonatan fueron un encanto. Siempre dispuestos a ayudar y a hacernos sentir en casa. Claudia siempre muy amable y respondía rápido pero honestamente no tuvimos que molestarla para nada ya que todo estuvo perfecto. Jonatan nos consiguió el alquiler de los jetskis y la pasamos increíble. Es un lugar que seguramente regresaremos. Gracias Claudia por hacer nuestra Semana Santa inolvidable.
