From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. Heavy snowfalls right outside your house. Yuzawa is known across Japan for some of the best snow in the mainland. One minute walk to the ski lift. Once you go up the mountain you can take the cable car to GALA Yuzawa where you can get other lifts as well without descending the mountain. Parking is DIY. If you want to park in front, you must shovel snow by yourself. Otherwise park in the ski lift parking lot or at our partner, Hattori Rental. We will pay for costs incurred at lift parking lot
