This Airbnb is a cultural experience, and it might not be for you. That’s ok. A meaningful specific can’t possibly please everyone. Racism, sexism, homophobia, etc have no place here. We are a predominantly Spanish-speaking community. You can purchase fresh Tamales, Pupusas, etc from our street vendors. We are next to an elementary school on a semi-busy street. Given the open concept design - there is not a lot of privacy between bedrooms, just a big bookcase room divider b/w the rooms. There are a few sitting area's outside and a green roof too! Looking for a healthy dose of tranquility and adventure at your doorstep? Over 100 steps from the road below, this 'treehouse' is perched above it all and horizontally oriented on a steep lot between two creeks. The all glass façade creates dramatic views of the redwoods, Mt. Tam and across downtown Mill Valley to Blithedale Ridge. Anchored to granite the house sits on handmade stone walls from rock harvested on the property during construction in the 1960s. Truly a one of a kind stay.

The Purple Door, Private Sanctuary, Epic View

Private guesthouse located in the Oakland Hills with stunning views of the bay. We recognize the importance of privacy, this guesthouse will allow you to have everything you need all while never having to be bothered. The sunset views can be taken in from your bed or the deck. There is a bus stop about 150 yards away if you need, the airport is about a 7 minute ride away, rail (BART) is about 5 minutes and the house is near a freeway for quick access to everywhere in the Bay Area.

Hike up to a well designed, small-but-mighty modern cabin with fast WiFi, your own hot tub and a panoramic view spanning across the bay from the Golden Gate to the San Mateo bridge. 108 stairs lead up to the Aerie, so if you don’t want to get your steps in, this is probably not the space for you! 15 min from OAK and city life, but a world away. Sunsets are glorious here. The Aerie is a special spot just for 1 or 2, so leave the posse behind. Registered guests only.

If you're looking for the most spectacular views on the San Mateo Coast, come to Sea Wolf Bungalow. Located just 20 minutes southwest of San Francisco and 7 miles north of Half Moon Bay, this historic cabin sits on its on own point with sweeping views of the Pacific. Enjoy whale watching, the beach, surfing, fishing, golf, hiking and the fabulous dining of the coastal area.

Wooded In-Law

The in-law is the entire lower level of our home. It’s approx. 950 sq. ft. private, sunny with own entrance and yard, facing undeveloped woods. Mornings & nights are great for patio or visiting at fire pit. A rustic, gravel path takes you to your door. Whoever books must be guest & we'll need photo of you! (not sunset or your pet cat!)
