Holiday rentals with a patio in Oaxaca

We loved our stay at Mauricio's place. He was kind enough to allow us a bit of an early check in to escape the heat. The apt was a great and comfortable stay for our few days in Oaxaca.

Los anfitriones (Juan y la Sra Laura) son un amor ya que son excelentes personas, siempre estuvieron al pendiente. Es un lugar ideal para descansar y vacacionar ya que nos hicieron sentir como si estuviéramos en casa. Y las condiciones son excelentes para sentirte cómodo en un lugar limpio, seguro y muy amplio. Nos vemos nuevamente el siguiente mes. Gracias.

Me sentí como en casa, es tal cual como en las fotos, ya estando allí, se siente un ambiente muy cálido y acogedor. La anfitriona fue muy amable y nos dio buenas indicaciones para ir a comprar y dónde comer. El lugar estaba bien equipado con todo lo necesario, limpio y organizado. La zona es muy tranquila y segura, en la noche está bien iluminado. En la calle de enfrente pasa el transporte público llamado Citybus en ambos sentidos y es súper económico el pasaje y te lleva al centro o también puedes tomar taxi. Me encantó, espero volver.

Si buscas una experiencia auténtica y enriquecedora en Oaxaca, Daniel es el anfitrión perfecto. Desde el primer momento, hizo que nuestro viaje cobrara vida, mostrándonos la ciudad de una manera que solo un verdadero local podría hacer. Nos recogió en el aeropuerto con una calidez increíble y, desde ahí, cada día fue una aventura perfectamente guiada. Daniel no solo nos llevó a los mejores restaurantes y mercados, sino que también nos mostró miradores impresionantes y rincones especiales que nunca hubiéramos descubierto por nuestra cuenta. Su conocimiento de la ciudad es impecable, y su habilidad para sincronizar cada experiencia – desde evitar las multitudes en el mercado hasta llegar al mejor punto justo a tiempo para el atardecer – hizo que todo fuera aún más especial. Pero lo que realmente distingue a Daniel es su atención al detalle y su genuino deseo de que sus huéspedes disfruten sin preocupaciones. Loved this flat! Such a great location so comfortable close to everything! - you have everything you need in the flat. I felt safe and secure in the neighbourhood and found everyone so friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic taco restaurant next door and a great cafe called Rustiko up the block. Highly recommend this place and will stay again when I return to this lovely city

I’ve been to Oaxaca many times over the years & this is one of my favorite stays ever. I loved the neighborhood, full of art, character, and great eateries. I found it to be a lot quieter than the center. The space itself is ideal and super cozy for a solo traveler or a couple. Really friendly and helpful housekeepers and co-host, Angie. And meeting Cathey was a real treat. She is a true artist and you’ll feel like you’re in an artist’s home while there. She’s also very hospitable + friendly. I certainly recommend her home and look forward to returning!

La habitación está muy bien equipada, el aire acondicionado es un plus para el calor de Oaxaca. Tienes tiendas, supermercados y el centro a 15 min caminando. Sin duda volveríamos a alojarnos aquí. Además Karla siempre fue muy amable y respondió rápido nuestras dudas

This house is big and clean, Very nice place, feel really safe, beautiful surroundings, close to everything I want to see, II really recommended.

Anastasia's house was spectacular. So many beautiful details, and an AMAZING outside roof terrace. My favorite thing was sitting out there admiring all the plants and the view. The house is walking distance to all the restaurants/cafes/markets. The nice showers and air conditioning was a plus. It was just me and my boyfriend but this house is certainly big enough for a family or extra guests. Could not recommend this airbnb enough!

Amy’s place was exactly what I needed for my 5 week stay in Oaxaca. The house is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. A simple and well designed space with everything I needed. The San Felipe neighborhood is a bit far from all the happenings in the city but if you’re comfortable being a bit off the beaten path and learn how the local buses work it makes for nice escape. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a special place. Great location, beautifully designed with local artisans. We got many indispositions for local crafts to buy. Fatima welcomed us with special local snacks when we arrived. Breakfast was a great touch. Recommend to anybody who is looking for a place where you can gather with friends.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Andrea war super nett und zu jederzeit sehr reaktionsschnell und hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben. Die Lage ist super, man ist in wenigen Gehminuten im Zentrum und man hat gleichzeitig die Ruhe des Wohngebiets vor Ort. Die private Terrasse war perfekt um nach einem Tag in der Stadt zur Ruhe zu kommen. Dank der Klimaanlage oben konnten wir jede Nacht sehr gut schlafen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

La casa es hermosa, espaciosa con detalles únicos, amplia, limpia, acogedora, ideal para viajar con amigos y familia, muy céntrica, volvería sin pensarlo, nuestra estancia excelente y la atención de Cristina invaluable, 10/10❤️

Beautiful home with great indoor/outdoor living. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great location for walking to shops, restaurants, and Oaxaca attractions. A bit loud at times. It was not the fault of the Airbnb, but one evening a nearby alarm sounded from 2am til 9am and it was horribly loud. Because of the open roof, sound seemed to travel right in. Cleaning services were great. Beware that there is a neighborhood cat who likes to stop by and there were lizards on the ceilings most evenings. Wonderful, friendly accommodating hosts. Really loved this beautiful home and the courtyard atrium.

Muy amable y al pendiente, el lugar muy bonito y muy bien equipado. Lo recomiendo mucho. solo recomendaría tener precaución en época de lluvias dado que la zona común está al aire libre.

Todo estuvo muy bien, solo que deben considerar que para personas adultas de la tercera edad son muchos escalones. La cocina muy equipada, de hecho desayunabamos diario ahi, el mercado esta a dos cuadras. Las regaderas muy funcionales. La casa muy agradable. Solo hubo un punto que falló, dos habitaciones no tenian refrigeracion y si hacia un poco de calor por las noches. Segun yo la publicación del alojamiento mencionaba que tenia aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones, fue algo que si incomodo. La buena noticia para los proximos alojamientos es que ya tenian en el sotano todos los equipos de refrigeracion para instalarse, asi que el alojamiento es ALTAMENTE RECOMENDADO!!!. Otra cosa es que los anfitriones son muy buena onda.

Leticia was an excellent host. Her love of Oaxaca is evident in her sharing all the things to do in this unique city. She provided a lot of information directly to her guests, which included, restaurant suggestions, landmarks to make sure are on your list, updating you of festivals occurring during your stay and details about the markets which offer something to everyone. I would return in the future as a guest. Thanks

We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Tilantongo - thank you for being such amazing hosts. The moment we arrived it felt like home - beautiful flowers on the table, water and snacks in the kitchen. Lots of thoughtful details to make for a comfortable stay for 6 weeks with our children, and such a fresh and modern space. The kitchen is well equipped and a great space for preparing food. Senora Paty, who comes and takes care of the plants/garden and patio areas is so lovely and does a great job. We loved being a bit out of Centro and supporting the local community businesses. Fresh tortillas around the corner everyday, fresh queso up the road, and the tastiest tortes not far and elotes coming past at night. Plus can’t forget Raices y Tierra across the road for delicious tacos and tlayudas! We made use of the local buses often and taxis to Centro which was affordable. A favourite air bnb! we hope to come back again to stay here (Oaxaca is amazing) as is Casa T!

Excelente ubicacion. Si te gusta caminar puedes. llegar al centro caminando. El departamento esta comodo con lo necesario para descansar. En mi proximo viaje a Oaxaca volvere a este lugar.

The Airbnb was great, it looked better in person and everything lived up to what it was. The host was incredible at responding and helping out with what we needed. The food recommendations in the apartment were great and Mariana helped us organize a driver to help us get to the airport. Bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean and updated. Nice hot water and great AC. Would love to stay here again.

Estancia muy tranquila, cercano al Centro en coche y siempre muy pendiente Salvador. Las instrucciones de llegada fueron muy claras y nos sentimos seguros, siempre tuvimos agua caliente, Wifi y acceso a meter el coche. Sin duda cuando regresemos a Oaxaca nos volveríamos a quedar en Casa Nogui.

Un Excelente lugar para quedarse unos días, accesible y la zona es muy tranquila. La habitación donde nos alojamos estuvo muy bien para una pareja con lo necesario para quedarse unos días. La comunicación con el anfitrión es excelente, te contesta en todo momento y muy amable. Simplemente un lugar excelente para visitar Oaxaca y sus alrededores. Sin duda me volvería a hospedar ahí.
