The 200-year-old farmhouse is located next to a waterfall, forest and lake in a quiet environment. The house has only been gently renovated. Much is still in its original condition, such as the historic room with walnut buffet, old parquet and tiled stove. It is heated with central heating. All rooms are wood-paneled. The floors can creak when entering - it's just part of the old wooden house. Here you can find rest and still be close to great excursion possibilities. It is located on the Interlaken - Lucerne railway line and the Way of St. James (brother Klaus). Many excursion destinations in central Switzerland (e.g. Pilatus, Engelberg, Melchsee-Frutt) are close by. The two-story house and garden are very family-friendly (not accessible). The region is a good starting point for excursions all over Switzerland (winter and summer).

The studio can be reached on foot in approx. 20-30 minutes from Sachseln train station. At Sachseln train station there is also a Mobility location and a charging station for electric cars.

It has a kitchen, TV and private bathroom. This is not in the apartment itself, but right next door and is a bit outdated. The apartment has 3 beds, but is more suitable for 2 people. The extra bed is more suitable for children.
