Viele Ausflugsziele der Zentralschweiz (z.B. Pilatus, Engelberg, Melchsee-Frutt) sind ganz in der Nähe. Das zweistöckige Haus und der Garten sind sehr familienfreundlich eingerichtet (nicht barrierefrei). Die Region ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die ganze Schweiz (Winter wie Sommer).
