We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa's place. Everything was exactly as promised. There was plenty of room and we made good use of the spacious kitchen and the BBQ. Lisa was a fantastic host and we would definitely stay there again!!

The space was beautifully furnished — clean, stylish, and well-equipped. We really appreciated thoughtful amenities like the roomy fridge, A/C, laundry, dishwasher, heated towel rack, and beach towels. The modern bathroom and walk-in shower with dual shower heads were a nice touch. The nearby highway can be a bit loud, but overall, the stay was absolutely worth it. The video guide provided was also very helpful in finding the location

I was beyond impressed with her property. She has a stack full of goodies that you need for vacation and cooking. It has the perfect location for exploring both Kona and Hilo in addition to all those good beaches. Again, can’t say enough good things about this property and the management.

Beautiful house with tasteful furnishing. A bit cramped if the tv is pulled out because the tv is set up on a rollable cabinet but still very beautiful and comfortable place to use as base for exploring the volcano national park. Host is friendly and communicative.

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!
