Our stay at Bertha is one to definitely remember, the atmosphere and surroundings were perfect

What a wonderful location to to get back to nature, kick back and relax 😌 The bus has been so thoughtfully put together, the attention to detail couldn’t be missed. Not to mention the clever use of space. We loved how it felt like we were moving from one themed room to another with a spacious sunroom, a cute little creative art corner, a well equipped kitchen & a cosy lounge area, perfect for relaxing be the fire, sipping tea & reading books. The beds were super comfy & the shower was steady & hot. The outdoor area was just as wonderful, with a picnic table, chairs & fire pit. We sat watching the sunset, listening to the birds, observing the paddies graze down below, as we looked across the river, whilst the sky changed & the stars come out. What a location to experience an Aurora too! It couldn’t have been a greater place to get away for a girls night, to admire nature & relax. Came here for a 21st gift! It was wonderful and just what I needed. Off grid, in the heart of nature and out of the city. A wonderful place to come if you need to get away from the city life or want to experience the Gypsy vibe! I really enjoyed meeting Rebecca she is very friendly and lovely person! Thanks Rebecca for creating such a space! I look forward to coming back:)

I had a great one night stay in the Red Bus! This was such a cool place to stay. The bus is done out very nicely and so interesting. It was great to have the fire on at night - made the whole bus super cozy. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Had a great stay at Guillaume and Tara's bus. Beautiful location, views and vibe. Loved relaxing by the brazier and stargazing in the evening. The instructions were super helpful on how to operate everything. 100% recommend this spot and would definitely come and stay again! Thanks again!

We had a great stay at Kookaburra retreat. So peaceful and relaxing. The retreat has a rustic charm and is in a great spot for walking. Melita is a great host. Clear communication and very responsive to messages. We can’t wait to go back!

It's a beautiful place , it's look better in real than in the photos and it's spacious, try to live in a bus as its wonderful, the reason we stay longer and most is the host is awesome, very attentive and responsive , just my net Is low the reason I can't receive messages immediately but place are comfortable, clean, crispy lennin, outside shower is amazing, hear the kokabarra tweet every afternoon, Lynne did a great job about this place because it's safe and private with fence, highly recommended, we will stay again for sure, try it , try the tablelands weather its perfect which 25 degrees mostly everyday and we are in the middle of summer, to the host thumbs up, a great lady host with her million dollar smile or worth more and I want to show my relatives about this place and book ahead for Xmas , also 15 to 20 minutes by walk, maybe shorter with others as I have short legs lol to the town for groceries and pub and coffee shop, tourist spot like d heritage village nearby

Samantha & Steven’s bus is incredibly well equipped with everything you need for a short weekend getaway. We spent a lovely long weekend here and couldn’t have been happier. The location is fantastic — close to supermarkets and the city centre, yet in a quiet area despite being near the highway. The kitchen is especially impressive, fully stocked and even includes a coffee machine with beans provided. Samantha was a wonderful host — very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. This listing was absolutely perfect for us and met all our needs. We truly loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others!

Can’t recommend this place enough - was such a perfect spot to curl up with tea and crafts and enjoy the beautiful surrounds. We didn’t have great reception so just turned all our phones off and enjoyed walking around, the campfire, trips to town & swimming in the GORGY creek. Hosts were incredibly kind and lovely - and sleeping in the converted bus was both novel and cosy. Keen to come back!!

I always wanted to sleep in a bus. This is like a dream come true. We had a warm welcome from Charlie the playful dog. However we are just not ready to bath out in the open shower in the middle of freezing temperatures, and we are shy too (wouldn’t want to scar Charlie for life).

Jane and Dean's Bus is exactly as described – a truly unique and relaxing getaway. The Bus was clean, well appointed, and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself was beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to unwind. We especially loved ending each evening with a fire under the stars – such a magical experience. The Bus is luxury glamping at its best, and we can’t wait to return!

My stay in Evi the bus has been nothing other than extremely pleasant. Andrea and her husband John are very kind, welcoming people and their dog Bruno is a real sweetheart. The bus itself is very comfortable and precisely like the pictures represent. The location is perfect for exploring the area (Waitangi, Russell, Paihia) and even for making a trip towards Cape Reinga. The hospitality has been heartwarming and even late at night when I was in need of some help, Andrea came over to assist me. Plus, she even gave me a nature lesson with some very interesting facts about the nightlife and the sounds we could hear outside. Hearing a Kiwi-sound, a Morepork owl and seeing the galaxy extremely clearly from right outside the bus has been an amazing extra. Thanks again for the wonderful few days!

It was a great experience, kid loved it! Super friendly and kind staff, ready to help and caring about the place! Beautiful surroundings clean and safe territory! Just keep in mind temperature outside before booking, ‘cause it is still a bus!

Worth every penny. Beautiful location. My family stay comfortably in the bus although there were 6 of us. The staff was friendly on site. Only suggestion I have is it would have been great to have additional lights near the main bedroom.

Great idea and a fun experience. Not much privacy if travelling with others, but can make use of the shared amenities. Can get hot/cold but the heater/cooler worked enough to make it comfortable. My son loved it and didnt want to leave.

Loved our stay, will definitely visit again 😊
