We accept reservations for one group per day. The maximum number of people who can stay here is 10 people. It is often used as a base for Tohoku trips by classmates, company colleagues, and multiple families. Please relax in the spacious space. Of course, even one person can stay privately. Please let us know by message at the time of booking, as children under 12 years old will be charged a reduced rate of 3,300 yen (tax included) per person per day. We will change the amount after the discount. The owner is a storyteller of Tono ancient tales. While sitting around a campfire in an old private house, we tell real stories from Tono's past based on the "Tono Monogatari". During the day, you can enjoy a kayak and SUP experience at a private dam lake with the owner who has been kayaking for 30 years, and a short excursion to a shrine quietly standing in the forest. Meals are home-style and healthy, and we also cater to vegetarians and vegans. Please have a special time experiencing the nature and life of Tono and the stories.

A private rental accommodation has been born in Hiraizumi, a World Heritage Site, limited to one group per day. Based on a Japanese house built over 150 years ago, we renovated it to make it feel comfortable while maintaining its charm. You'll feel a sense of nostalgia, as if you've returned to the countryside. We have prepared traditional crafts that represent Iwate, such as Nanbu ironware, which you can use freely in the building. You can experience the history and traditions of the Hiraizumi area with all five senses, such as drinking hot water from Nanbu ironware, eating food from Suehiro lacquerware, and wearing hand-dyed work clothes from a Kyoto dyeworks. There are rice terraces and forests around the facility, and you can see Mt. Sukawa (Kurikoma) and the Yakeishi Mountains in the distance.

Origin of Kumo Lodge ☁ ️ On the way here, you may see a glimpse of a sea of clouds spreading over the lake. The scenery is so fantastic and mysterious - my heart trembled with excitement, and I named it "Kumo (Cloud) Lodge" to convey that emotion.
