Sit on the swing seat with a book and glass of wine and gaze out at the spectacular views of the lake and volcano. Then fire up the hot tub bath with ample room for two and enjoy the starlit skies or a movie on the outdoor screen. Toast smores over the fire pit. Walk down for a swim at Stoney Point Beach or take out the kayak. Note: Short 25m uphill hike to the hut.

Okere Lakehouse Retreat is a stunning architectural holiday home, with breathtaking lake views inside and out and native bush and birdlife all around. This spacious studio apartment is set in native bush at Lake Tarawera, at the back of a lake-front property. However, it does have great views of the lake. It has one main room which includes a kitchen area, a dining room table, a lounge and beds and there's a separate bathroom. It is accessed up a flight of stairs with a laundry for use downstairs. Wifi is available. There is an outdoor patio, with comfortable furniture, sun umbrella and magnificent views across the lake to the mountain.

This comfortable north facing fully fenced, three bedroom bach has great indoor/outdoor flow an outdoor hot shower and plenty of outdoor space to play. The Bach sits two houses back from the beach with peaceful sounds of the waves and peeks of the sea and Motiti Island. Pets are welcome to join you for you stay (refer to Pet House Rules below).

Our beach house is a real treasure. Over the last 10 years we have worked hard towards what it is today and would love to share this little piece of paradise. It has easy indoor/outdoor flow and beachy interior. The beach is across the road, through the dunes and onto the beach. The house is easy living with all the modern cons and a few games to match. It has 3 bedrooms with one bedroom set up Marae style which sleeps 5. The other 2 bedrooms have a king bed each.
