Terebinte Guest Farm Tented Treehouse

Nestled beneath the towering beauty of God's Window and surrounded by lush plantations, our cozy, rustic farm offers a farm experience. As a working farm, Terebinte - "the tree where friends and family gather" - welcomes you to enjoy the charm of country life. Please note, our property is located deep within the forest, requiring a 3km drive on a dirt road. While the road is generally well-maintained, heavy rain may occasionally make it a bit slippery or uneven. We navigate it in small cars too.

The Forest Cottage

A self contained cottage with two air conditioned rooms each 10m², situated within an indigenous patch of forest at the base and to the east of the highest peak in the Blyde River Canyon. From the cottage's verdant veranda stretching the entire length of the cottage, guests are afforded magnificent views over the South African Lowveld and in the distance, The Kruger National Park touching the horizon. It is situated at the very top of the village of Kampersrus within a safe and secure homestead.

The (Solar) Bird House

This beautiful, solar powered cottage with a spacious patio, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the country life with a real feel for nature. Apart from the mountain view you might also be fortunate enough to witness a warthog family passing by or even some small game grazing nearby. Relax and listen to the birds chirping. You may even hear the bush babies shrieking, lions roaring and hyenas whooping at night. We are central to many tourist attractions and only 27 km from Hoedspruit.

Graskop Cottage

Graskop Cottage offers the ideal Lowveld break-away for a couple or small family. Fronting a concervancy, you can watch the sunset, with unbroken views of the valley and mountain from your veranda. Located in the heart of the Kruger-to-Canyon tourist route, it is a perfect hub from which to explore the wonder of this beautiful piece of South Africa. Come home to a crackling fireplace or your braaivleis fire sizzles. The kitchen is fully equipped for your self-catering needs.

My place is close to the city center. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. My cottage is on the Panorama route on the way to God's Window, The Pinnacle, Bourke's Luck Potholes, The Three Rondawels and The Blyde River Canyon to name but a few. It is a wonderful "home away from home".
