We are located on Taylor Creek less then a 100 yards from a public launch and just over a mile from the lock into Lake Okeechobee. Dock your boat or kayak at our dock, which has electric, if needed. Take time off to go fishing on world renown Lake Okeechobee. Make a cup of coffee, walk out your back door, jump on your boat under the covered boathouse, and you are on the water! Once you've caught your limit, come back in to grill up your catch. Later on, soak in the peace and quiet while watching the sunset in the relaxing outdoor seating area. Then tomorrow rinse and repeat. This is lake house living at its best!! The House: Each bedroom has its own bathroom making it perfect for groups.

I booked Hanson’s home for four days for Father’s Day weekend to be able to help my dad live his dream of fishing on Lake Okeechobee and boy were we in for a treat! The property is stunning, the renovated cabin is spacious and gorgeous and clean, the animals are all adorable and friendly (although the cats can be little cute rascals at times) and it was perfect. My dad and I had to have a flexible check-in time and Hanson was immediately accommodating and was even outside to greet us and show us his animals! We will be returning with excitement for future fishing trips!! HIGHLY recommend!!
