Waterfront holiday rentals in Okinawa

My friends and I had a very pleasant stay at Shuichi san’s apartment. The apartment is clean and well-kept. It’s situated at the highest level and it’s facing the sea, the view is beautiful. The apartment is just 15min drive from the Makishi Market and less than 10min drive to nearby AEON, MUJI, UNIQLO at Ameku. Travelling from the apartment to other attractions is pretty convenient too. Accessing the apartment building and the unit requires an app that acts as the key. Instructions will be provided prior check-in. Although it took me a while to figure out which option to select for the correct entrance, all is good once it’s figured out - good security. I wasn’t able to locate the building on Google map and we found it by keying in the postal code and asking a friendly local. Shuichi is very responsive. Any queries were clarified quickly.

It is clean and equipped with a kitchen, shower, washing machine, TV, WiFi, etc.They responded quickly to even minor issues, which was very helpful.I want to stop again.

It was as nice as I expected. The sea view of the high floor is really beautiful and the rooms are great. However, the surrounding streets have a dark atmosphere with the same slums. There are grocery stores and convenience stores nearby, but there were no good restaurants around. And it was also inconvenient to have to walk more than 10 minutes to get out on the bus.

Great location and walking distance to a lot of local shops and dining facilities, grocery store. The two bedrooms both have twin beds, it would have been nice to share a bed with my spouse as they are really only meant for one person and we are both on the small side. Great directions and instructions for everything contained in a book left by the host. Very clean, very easy to get around - we cooked a few times and had everything we needed to make it work. Overall great experience and a great airB&B!

Everything is nice, unfortunately the air conditioner is on the balcony, the air conditioning will be very hot in the balcony

This was one of the best airbnb’s I have stayed in! very lovely and great place for 3 of us to live in for a short trip! would love to book again when visit okinawa again next time!

A charming place to stay. The apartment was extremely comfortable, and our host provided extra pillows and coathangers on request. The kitchen could use a few more plates and cutlery, but only a minor issue. Great view west from the balcony towards the sea. Do bring earplugs and an eye mask, as there is a light which is on all night outside the bedroom window, and the lift machinery is audible in the bedroom. A great location with shops and restaurants nearby, and hardly any street noise. Everything is clean and modern. Hard to think of a better place to stay.

It's a children's paradise Had a lot of fun after coming home each day Stay here for a day without worrying about stuffy The pictures of the accommodation are about the same as the photos but sadly there are some old and wear and tear Was worried about car not being able to drive in before check in Because we rented a big 7 person car But turned out we were worried too much….. the big 7 person car was also able to drive in Also it's a house for self-driving Residences are all around The convenience store seems like it takes more than 10 minutes to walk, but it's about 3 minutes by car And I don't think there's a lot of stuff around though But it's really convenient for my trip. All around 15-20 drive Lots of family spots, shopping malls, etc. But if you want to go to Manzamo, it takes a little more time. We still hope to stay at atsuko's house again next time we come to Okinawa

We had a great stay in this quiet house, surrounded by nature. Everything was clean, as shown in the photos, and well-equipped and the host is responsive. The place is super peaceful, pleasant with the little stream next to it, and well located for exploring the north of the island. We came across a few small animals (lizards, termites, etc.), but nothing surprising since we are in the forest. The only point to note for future travelers: the road to get there is quite narrow, so be careful if you have a big car.

Yota was very responsive and accommodating to what we needed. House was clean and everything was in good working order. We will definitely come back to his AirBnB as he was a wonderful host with a well maintained property!

It was too comfortable for 9 people to stay. I was able to park up to 2 cars, The bedrooms were all on the first floor, and the washing machine and kitchen were on the second floor, so I was able to live without making a lot of noise even when other families were sleeping. There was a tatami room, so the kids had fun playing. It was comfortable because there were two bathrooms and showers. You can walk to the beach, but it's really quiet and we were the only ones there. If you go a little towards the cave on the beach, you can get some shade. The water is calm and shallow, and there are a lot of fish. It's a great place for kids to play. Max Value is 7 minutes away from the accommodation, so it's easy to shop, and it's a little in the road, so it's quiet and there was no noise when sleeping. It seemed like there were a lot of U.S. soldiers living around. I also collected stag beetles because it was a really clean environment. Lizards are also visible at night. The kids loved it. If I go to Okinawa next time, I definitely want to stay again.

Maki was extremely helpful and responsive. We were unsure if there was goats milk selling in her area for my son and she went all the way out to find alternative options when it was not available in the supermarket. House is extremely clean and toys were prepared for little kids. My son just wanted to stay in the house throughout the trip. The bed rails for kids provided were a bonus too. Overall, a fantastic stay! The only point to be aware of would be that the path leading to the house can be very narrow so need to be extra careful when driving a big car esp at night.

Very good accommodation. ❤️On a hot summer day, the owner turned on the air conditioning to welcome us. Very thoughtful. Plenty of tissues provided in the house. Very good.🙌 The bathroom rinse cup is provided with a paper cup, very hygienic, worth staying again ☺️

Everything was just as the picture description. Loved our time spent here. Highly recommend.

This property had a couple of features important to us that are difficult to find - two bedrooms, each with two large beds, with two showers two toilets. The views were fantastic and the mattresses a comfortable firm that I prefer. Beach walk is close by, as well as a couple convenience stores.

This is a great view unit. You can see the fish from the living room window, and it is a cinematic view of the world. The shellfish dining table is also lovely, and the tension has increased every time I eat and drink. The room was spacious, so it was easy and comfortable to take out and clean up your luggage. The bench chair and massage shower in the bath relieved the tiredness of traveling. I'm really glad I chose this condo.

Great stay, beautiful scenery, easy check in and host was very accommodating.

It was the best place to stay for a family trip with an 18-month-old baby. It's easy to find, clean, and has all the amenities for babies. The American Village can be reached on foot, so I was able to eat baby food comfortably and my mom and dad have a beer. There is also a convenience store right next door, so it was very convenient. This is the best accommodation in Okinawa ^ ^

The host was attentive and kind. The view was stunning, even though it was cloudy. I wish I could have spent more time just relaxing there.

everything was perfect and clean cozy. felt almost like home and my family had really good stay. a little far from main areas like american village and naha, but if you have a car it would be ok.

I loved staying here - so close to nature and the beach is super cute with lots of adorable hermit crabs. Woofy is also a very sweet dog and it was nice to have him around. Everything in the room was great. Thanks!
