Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Old Bar

Our stay at this beautiful home was incredible. The views of the bush and lake are amazing, and all the rooms of the house were stunning. You feel super secluded but with everything close by. Ken was great with communication.

Robert's place is really delightful, perched high on the western hill of Dungog only 10 minutes walk from the main street and with a perfect east/north aspect and view over the valley. Waking to thousands of birds in the dawn chorus with the low sun pouring in and the mist-laden valley below was way better than expected. Being a fellow bird lover i felt right at home, and the slow combustion stove meant the house was as warm as you could want on a cold Winter's night and morning.

Great place! The terrace has an amazing view over the ocean. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay here over a mild, sunny Easter long weekend as a birthday treat. Heidi has curated all these wonderful vintage items along with other clever renovations to give an all-encompassing vintage vibe. There was attention to detail in comfort and cosines too. The bed and soft linen was so very comfy! We loved finding all the little treats generously supplied by Heidi - fresh bread, eggs from their own chicken, olive oil, a fresh chocolate coconut slice - and more! And enjoyed just sitting on the verandah having a tea overlooking the lawn towards the reserve and creek at the back. Some cute little birds flirting about in the mornings. Locally we had a great share platter lunch at a place called ‘Flow Bar’. There’s a nice estuary to have a paddle in down at Khappinghat reserve. A short drive south the beach at Black Head was nice and protected to have a dip. Would also recommend the lunch menu and gourmet deli supplies from ‘The Artisan Farmer’ (Nabiac).

Fabulous chilled out beach side weekend with adult children and 2 x dogs. Hosts have a perfect house to relax, surf or take in beach scenery walks. House well appointed with fur family perfectly considered. Paul and De are great hosts. Thank you

The location is truly wonderful—peaceful and secluded, yet still conveniently close to everything we needed. Our family and pets felt right at home, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting. We love the place. Great sunset from the balcony, well-stocked pantry with condiments, etc. Place was clean, well-appointed size. Modern. Tip: the beds are really nice but has different firmness - check before choosing your room! This is the downstairs apartment. Choose upstairs for better view. Direct access with private driveway, too!

Stunning views of the beautiful beach and there is a great coffee shop on the same street. The apartment has everything needed for a holiday with family and is very neat and tidy. The fruit and cheese platter on our arrival was so lovely and unexpected. We will be returning!

Beautiful private place. Exactly as described. Hosts were super friendly and even provided some free packets of cereal and oats, milk, tea, coffee and sugar. TV had Netflix available for guests.

A great place to stay , close to the shops , the beach and the lake all in walking distance. The Unit a one bedroom apartment is very clean and tidy , it had everything we need to make our stay pleasant , we look forward to staying there again in the future

Needing somewhere to stay while working in the area & wow what a find! I couldn’t wait to finish work and get back to enjoy this place. Bonus having a beautiful dog greeting. Hosts are down to earth great people and make ya feel at home while also giving you privacy. I absolutely loved the uniqueness & detail and all the comforts of home plus more!

We really enjoyed our stay at Terry and Sue’s place. Very spacious and well appointed with extra touches to make you feel welcome and comfortable .We really appreciated the bread and milk as well as other supplies that they provided. Spotlessly clean and the kitchen was great. We made good use of the utensils and air fryer. A quiet neighbourhood but close to the beach, shops and restaurants with lovely views of the hinterland from the balcony. Terry and Sue are very welcoming and responsive and helpful when needed. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!

Bruno's place is right next to the famous One Mile beach, which is super convenient. The kids had great time there. We booked both apartments A and B for two families. One of them has a dishwasher with a bigger kitchen, so we spent most of the group time over there in apartment A. I would recommend this place and will come back with friends.

This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

Absolutely lovely beach-side stay, lots of natural light inside and kept very clean. Cafe, restaurants and chemist within short walking distance. Photos are accurate, homely feels and simple instructions/guest book details. Will book again.

We have been on a lengthy road trip and Bill’s place was our favourite out of every where we stayed. The views were amazing, everything we could need was catered for and we felt very comfortable and at home. Would have extended our stay if we weren’t on a schedule so will have to come back another time. Not sad about it-a wonderful part of the world and an awesome accommodation option 🙂

This accomodation was outstanding. Great location and the unit was equipped with everything you needed including some thoughtful items like a coffee machine, condiments in the fridge to a variety of tea and coffee selections. Communication was on point with step by step instructions on how to access the unit and Mark was very reactive to emails. The outlook was amazing, listening to the sound of the waves and the sunsets ❤️. I will be back..

Helens place was perfect for a family getaway. The heated pool area was a standout for the kids. Great facilities and easy walking distance to Port Macquarie town centre, beaches and kids park.

Wow, this garden apartment is fabulous. Arrival was easy & straight forward. On entering, I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment is so spacious, bright & airy and the proportions are very generous. A rare find indeed. The kitchen is lovely with everything you could possibly need. The bedroom is roomy and the bed devine, so comfortable. The bathroom is large & bright with a spacious shower & a separate bath.. There is a well equipped gym and a lovely swimming pool, all on the same level as the apartment.. both well used by us.. We loved it so much that we will make a night stop, room only, on our return.
