We welcome you to stay in our self contained studio, positioned on the ground floor of our home. The 1x bedroom studio features kitchen, bathroom, living space with aircon, an outdoor courtyard & roadside parking. It has its own private access, seperate from the main house entrance. If you’re concerned with noise, this perhaps isn’t the place for you as our living room is directly above the studio. We have a young family & 2 dogs who can be noisy at times. Generally from 8pm to 7am it’s quiet.

Based on other guests' glowing reviews, I was already expecting a beautiful place and I'm impressed that the other guests were correct with their descriptions and experience. What I wanted to highlight is that I didn't realize that Nigel will also provide breakfast for us. It's very thoughtful that since there was no kitchen facility and it's far from cafes, they stocked up the fridge with what we can easily have for breakfast. Thank you for that thoughtfulness and your hospitality. My husband and I really enjoyed our short stay.

We had a great stay at Shelley's. The location was great, nice and quiet with our own space, and only 20-30mins to get to the beach/mount for the day (only 10-15mins to the city, and supermarket only 2mins away). Shelley was really quick to respond to any questions we had, and even gave us some fresh eggs from the chickens! We will definitely be back, thanks Shelley!

The Perfect Rural Retreat

I travelled with my partner and son over the easter weekend and everything was perfect. Alana had amazing Coms, and responded immediately. We had everything we needed in the cottage we stayed at, it was very clean and comfortable and it was a home away from home. It was close enough to the main town so easy to get to when we needed to grab groceries or go out for food. Alana has children as well so she was lovely in offering toys, and sports equipment for my son to play with during our stay. I would love to visit and stay at this place during the summer as I imagine it will be nothing short of amazing. Alana was nice also to let us check out a little later which meant we could sleep in and not rush in the morning. Beds were comfortable, and it was nice to watch netflix in the evenings while we whined down.
