This is a new home. It has all of the Invercargill City Council requirements and more. This home is cosy and warm. Well ventiated. 4 sliding doors and lots of opening windows. 2 outside areas to sit in. Sky Sports. This is a non smoking home. There are areas outside for smoking. We have security cameras which are in use when the home is empty. These are located outside. We do advise that you read the blue folder under the tv, the instrustions for the oven as well as the password for the wifi

Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

This Art Deco inspired home is a Bluff landmark. Built by the Arnett family in the 1940s, it is named "Poutama" after the Tītī Island where they went muttonbirding. The home has three bedrooms and an open plan lounge, dining-nook and kitchen. North facing, it offers sun-drenched views of Bluff's waterfront, especially from its large sunroom that contains one of two work spaces. A two minute walk to a well-stocked dairy, it is a great base from which to enjoy Bluff or visit Stewart Island.

Great little spot. 200m from the North beach & River. 5min walk to central Riverton - supermarkets & cafes. You maybe able to bring your dog - please check with me first. Dogs need to be kept on a lead around our yard at all times (because of our animals). And they also need to be able to stay off the furniture. The Shack (and yard) are not child safe, please let me know if you have a young child with you. We are also on the Te Araroa Trail, so great for backpackers.

Chris’ home on Stewart Island met our needs well. It was well located for anyone comfortable walking approx. 15 minutes into town, and featured comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Chris was very friendly and responsive to all questions. We had six adults on our visit and found there to be ample room with the two full bathrooms and seating space in the main rooms. Worth noting, the walk does feature a very steep road and driveway so this is prohibitive for anyone with any mobility issues.

An oldie but a goodie. We had a fantastic stay at this charming beach house. Beautifully situated with native bush just behind and the beach only a few metres away, it truly is a hidden gem! The house had plenty of space for our group of 7, with large windows offering stunning 180-degree views, a cozy sunroom, and a generously sized bathroom stocked with fresh linen. The complementary vehicle was so helpful and allowed us to view the whole island. Despite visiting in May, the weather and temperature was still lovely. The kayaks were a huge bonus, such a great way to enjoy the water, and the provided life jackets gave us extra peace of mind, especially with the kids. Special thanks to the lovely host who greeted us; she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We’d absolutely come back!

Great thoughtful friendly hosts, super communication as they answer inquiries pretty quickly. Such a lovely private, cozy, place to stay with nature at your door, rural enough to get that peaceful space we all search for in a home away from home. Still close to town only minutes away with local restaurants in either direction of the cottage. Great place to take a stroll and call into the local for a cold one or some bluff oysters and hot chips at the fish n chip shop. Enjoyed watching the sheep play tag, listening to the Tui in the trees and watching the Fantail flitter around. Everything we needed and more thank you very much.
