We really enjoyed our stay at the ruffled rooster. A very peaceful and well equipped spot on a beautiful block with plenty of bush and amazing views. Peter and Jill were amazing hosts, very attentive, generous and kind. The spa was amazing and sitting by the fire watching the sun set over the hills was a great way to end the day. We will be back!

Great accommodation with a very comfortable feel to the house. Comfortable bed and the bathroom is amazing. All amenities were great. Close to town and right on the track so great for walking and bike riding.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Callaghan Creek Farm House. Felicity and Lew were terrific hosts. Very peaceful location, so close to the Victorian Alps and beyond. A terrific place to unwind .... : )

We loved the authenticity and ambience of the cottage and the peaceful surrounds. For those who live a nice open wood fire this is a perfect spot. All close to beautiful sites, especially Yackandandah and Beechworth.

This cabin is a real gem. Genuine peace and quiet, a true escape from humanity, exactly what I was after. Right on the river, I sat down on the perfectly located seat and listened to the rushing water for hours. It was clean, exactly as described and there is no doubt I will be back again someday. We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

What a beautiful place to relax and explore the area. Every window in the house had a serene outlook - looking over the dam, out to the highland cows, over to the sheep and lambs; with so many places to sit a relax - by the fire pit at the edge of the running creek, comfortable chairs in a number of nooks inside and out. We really felt at home. Thank you.

What a beautiful weekend away in the tranquil walnut farm groves of the apline region - with birds-sheep-cattle-foxes to keep us company- and our dog could run around and enjoy life while the fire kept us toasty warm. Ronaldo has completely undersold this place as a gem for the region - will visit again

Amazing location. The sound of wildlife was incredible both during the day and at night. The house was cosy and incredibly clean. A great spot for dogs to run around and be cosy inside as well.

A wonderful, peaceful place! The views are beautiful. Especially at dawn. Friendly host and animals. Rolly, the canine concierge, especially. Our dogs particularly loved this Airbnb. Probably their most favorite ever! Excellent gravel bike rides close by. The house is an authentic Australian farmhouse. A mixture of eclectic design elements. Very loved and visited by treasured family. Staying here took me back to visiting friend's parents farms fifty years ago! Except for the sparkling new Bali inspired bathroom! Very comfy beds, warm living spaces, heaps of kitchen things, a wonderful library and a strong sense of family history. No airs and graces. Honest, country hospitality. Congratulations on a lovely place! We loved our stay and hope to return.

I stayed at Ayu N Peter’s for 4 nights. The house is everything you need, very clean, warm and comfortable as was the bedding. Ayu was attentive and happy to assist with any requests I had and as well as in relation to my little dog. Which I was so grateful for. Ayu is a great host, Bright is beautiful, and I will definitely be back to stay at their house next time I’m in Bright.

The perfect bushwalker, dog lover and nature seeker get-a-away with all the basic necessities for a comfortable and scenic stay. The large fully fenced area around the cabin was perfect for my eager border collie and husky to roam independently. Also lots of dog friendly walks to drive to, although the area is mostly surrounded by National Parks, so super great for walking without dogs too. The cabin is warm with closed-in fireplace and open plan rustic style with all the necessities so plenty of room for a couple. And the enclosed garden lovely for evenings under the stars or breakfasts in the sun. I loved it! Big Smiles…

We had a very comfortable stay with my dog. It was our second time at Mad on the Buckland. Kay was an absolutely wonderful host. We didn’t know there was a festival happening in Bright until Kay kindly let us know. Thanks to that, we were able to visit Bright just in time and enjoy the festival without missing a thing. The location is perfect for visiting nearby places, and we had such a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Thank you, Kay!

The outdoor shower and BBQ area were additional highlights, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the high country. Lastly, our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Five stars, without a doubt!

The property is lovely. The house is sweet and well set up. The gardens are beautiful, it feels like you are in a private oasis - except for a little bit of traffic noise from the road right next to the property. The pool was lovely and relaxing. Only negative is there is basically no phone reception at all, and the internet was very intermittent (so the TVs wouldnt work for most of our visit). Theres also no logical way to get from the pool to shower without dripping water through the house. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay.

We absolutely loved the cottage, breakfast staples and the little extra treats left for us. Very pretty, even though it was cold and wintery you could tell the gardens will be stunning come spring. Thank you Peter and Jamie for welcoming us to your home 💜

The unit was clean as recently been updated, with everything you need and close locations to shops and easy access to everything.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. It is a slice of peaceful paradise. There is so much land you can walk around on and the views are amazing! If you love animals, this is the place for you. Cows, geese, a turkey, bull, sheep, even a pony and more. The dog Max was the cherry on top of a perfect trip. He’s the sweetest boy and you’ll fall in love with him! Tab and Terry are great hosts, very responsive and easy to chat too.

Wonderful winter stay at Upper Lurg. 3 couples could not have loved the house more on a cold weekend. Facilities and space were amazing with everything you could need. The pool looked a bit cool at 7 degrees but we could see outdoor summer entertaining being amazing, the spaces, the outdoor cooking area all looked amazing, was ready to crank up the pizza oven. If only the chickens were laying eggs. The location was amazing for the King Valley Wineries. Easy drive to all the Valley. Will plan another visit.
