Palmerston lake offers excellent fishing for smallmouth bass as well as lake trout and pan fish. Our lake system is extreamly clean, weed free and excellent for swimming, boating, fishing and more. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Jennifer thought of everything a cottage needs and then some. The weather was not ideal the weekend we went but we were still able to do so much! The games under the TV came in handy along with the hot tub. Jennifer truly has everything you need in the kitchen - spices included! We ate at the highland social, redneck bistro and the oh-el-la cafe, some of the best food we have EVER had! Everyone in town was also super friendly :) The road to get up to the cabin was scary for us city folks the first time but after you do it once, it comes with ease! We cannot wait to stay here again and again!

We had an amazing stay! Communication was excellent from the very beginning. The house itself is absolutely beautiful: perfectly equipped with everything (and more!) you could possibly need, and decorated with so much care and warmth. The area is so peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and relaxing. The lake is incredible, we loved canoeing and just enjoying the views, especially from the house, which are breathtaking. It was everything we were hoping for!

This is our second time staying at the station, and it's jiust as magical as the first. A beautiful home in beautiful surroundings, quiet, green, and comfortable. Grat just as a place to have a lazy weekend with the kid playing in the freight room, or as a base to explore the lakes, hikes and towns. Definitely hope to be back!

We loved it! The cottage is located in a private area on the lake, well-decorated, and has 4 levels making it very spacious. The hottub and sauna were awesome - perfect for our winter stay. We liked the couch in the downstairs living room as it was big and comfortable, and we appreciated the Roku for easy streaming. We had no issues driving to the cottage even after heavy snowfall - the private road and driveway were cleared. Walkways, stairs and decks were also cleared. Plenty of room outside for walks with a dog and other activities. We would highly recommend Siobhan’s cottage!
