Hazel House was beautiful. The original woodwork was amazing and the restorations look great. We would definitely stay there again.

Beth was awesome to work with. Extremely responsive, and so kind and flexible to allow us to check in early with our baby so she could catch a nap. We used this space with friends for a wedding in that area and it was perfect. Highly recommend staying here.

This was our second time at the River Shack and it didn’t disappoint. Theresa is very friendly and responsive! I will recommend her place to anyone staying in the area. The river views and the garage are perfect!

Exactly what we were looking for our family of 4. Walkable to downtown and the racetrack! There is a park across the street at the school. Very clean and cute. Would absolutely stay again.

We had a great visit! Our two dogs loved watching for the bunnies and watching the cows peacefully graze across the road. We had a lovely picnic dinner under the pine tree on a beautiful night. Great area and we will be back. 😊

The five of us stayed only one night (including one dog) and we thoroughly enjoyed the space. Roxie (the dog) appreciated the instructions aimed specifically at her. We loved the view of the river out the picture window and from the high deck. The spacious open-plan kitchen-living-dining room is sunny, spotless, uncluttered, interestingly decorated, and homey. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms nicely laid out. I'd love to have a longer stay at Anne's house.

This place was perfect for our group of ice fisherman. Right on the water and directly next to the bait shop. Lisa was very friendly and was easy to work with. 10/10, will be returning.

What an amazing home! This was our second time visiting, and with a larger group. Perfect set up for multiple families with bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor. Ginger and Brad are very friendly and attentive to our needs. They restocked the firewood when we ran out. Their animals are friendly and approachable! The kids were able to wade in the nearby stream at camp creek (5 minutes away). Hope to be back!

Great stay. Note that the stairs to the second floor are steep and narrow and may be difficult for some.

Great place for a quiet retreat with the whole family

Perfect place for a fishing trip, great location, very private and cabin was awesome!

We loved our trip, but he only small issue we had that we couldn’t figure out was on the very last night we lost wifi, but it made us truly disconnect so it was a blessing in disguise! We had such a great time in the hot tub, and the land is so beautiful and peaceful. We had such an amazing time there is nothing i would change!

We really enjoyed our stay! Right off the highway but still felt tucked away. It had everything we needed for a good stay!

A very nice cabin with all the amenities we needed and close to the waterpark. It had everything we needed for a nice weekend getaway. Had a great time with friends and family with the fireplace area in the back which really helped us feel relaxed and had alot of fun.

Perfect home for a larger family or group! We really enjoyed our time at Mindy’s home. There was plenty of space for everyone and the pool and hot tub were bonuses! We were in town for a wedding and Mindy was very flexible with check-in and very responsive and kind. Beautiful location with a ballpark right across the street. Highly recommended, Thank you!

Beautiful location & views, whether sunrise, sunset or stargazing. Peaceful & quiet. The kitchen appliances, utensils, outdoor grill, and stores in Richland Center (special mention for Richland Center Locker) make this a great place for people who like to cook their own meals. Beds and furniture left us rested and relaxed. Hope for clear skies during your stay so you can stargaze with minimal light pollution and listen to the coyotes and barred owls around the fire pit. Having a washer and drying was great especially after a busy day hiking, on the water or whatever way you enjoy the Driftless region. Thanks, Gloria & Jeff.

Enjoyed our stay. We visited quite a few Amish businesses and their produce auction. The beds were comfortable and the birds were amazing. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning listening to the birds. Also had a doe and fawn come walking right by. We had almost perfect weather so were able to have the windows open. Nice hot shower and plenty of space. I preferred the outhouse over the incinerator toilet but that was just my preference. We did have rain one morning and couldn't cook outside. A hot plate or electric griddle would be a great addition. Other than that the stay was great. We would definitely stay again. Check in was easy and a nice note with local suggestions was so nice. We did travel to Fennimore and I would recommend the train museum if you are looking for things to do.

Excellent. Love this picturesque coulee, and the barn is always a hit. Perfect crash pad for us after days spent exploring trout streams.

The houseboat was a unique and fun variation on vacation stays. It was a busy marina but quiet by 9:00 so no problems with noise. Several nearby restaurants to choose from or could cook/grill on the boat. I communicated with Greg via text, he was very willing to help but no issues so no need for further communication. I would highly recommend this location.

This place is huge! Three floors of usable space and four large bedrooms plus an office space. It’s very quiet and peaceful with lots of natural light. It is a little far from town but that can be a plus if that’s what you are looking for. It was very family friendly. If you are traveling with someone who has mobility issues, there is a bathroom and bedroom on the main floor but no shower. There was a washer and dryer available for use. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the use of your property!

We would for sure stay here again! We were there for our son’s college graduation. Beth had a welcome basket with treats and some drinks in the fridge along with a note of congratulations for our son’s graduation. There were plenty of beds and the beds were very comfortable. There were beds that were actually queen and king sized beds. We had 8 people and there was everything we needed in the kitchen and a grill with extra propane. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. We had enough towels for everyone. There were also extra blankets. We would highly recommend this house for anyone traveling to LaCrosse for any occasion. Thank you Beth and Josh for your hospitality.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at River’s Edge cabin which was spotless and well equipped. We were comfortable there and especially appreciated the surrounding property, trees, and solitude. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch most mornings - the rocking chairs with comfy cushions and blankets were a wonderful touch! The cabin is about 15 minutes from the town of Viroqua that had a good selection of restaurants, unique shops, and even grocery stores. There are also a couple of restaurants really close to the cabin. Communication was excellent, anytime we had a question or needed anything the host was quick to respond and always willing to help.

The place is awesome, especially if you plan on bringing a boat! You can dock right there. Ryan is a super chill guy and really helpful. Definitely would stay again!
