We had a lovely stay at Kristie’s place, it was exactly as described and lovely quick run across to the beach for beautiful sunsets. Kristie was very helpful and responsive.

Helen is responsive helpful and very friendly. She has thought of everything to make your stay like it was at home - everything from a can opener, a magazine, a GREAT sized fridge and freezer (which is often way to small when you stay at a BnB), even squeezed in a washing machine. I loved the location, it is quiet and safe, but for me best of all, I could take my dog. The yard is secured with a gate and has a lovely lawn with plenty of parking. The only thing for me, was that I slept on the Pull-Out couch, which is tired and uncomfortable, which I have mentioned to Helen. Definitely a place we would return. Its great. :-)

We had a very enjoyable stay at Jane's place. Set in a very peaceful location. A short walk to the shopping centre and a short drive to the Mount. Easy check-in. Instructions were detailed and easy to follow. A very comfortable home. Would recommend.

Really appreciate Hosts like Macina who offers fully fenced pet friendly property for dog owners like us have opportunity to travel with our furbabies. Even though it's a pet friendly airbnb, we couldn't smell anything when we entered the house. The house itself was also very clean and tidy. The beds and linen were so comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with most of the stuff we needed, so we really enjoyed our stay. Papamoa beach was in walking distance and it was BEAUTIFUL. Thanks again to Macina for being so helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this cozy airbnb, it's much more than what we have expected.

Second stay here, heater was on when i arrived so house was beautifully warm. Lovely and peaceful and well set up so homely and comfortable.

Stellas house was an amazing place to stay. Across the road from the beach, can see the water, walking distance to shops. Great house and fantastic location..

The place was very accommodating, and Ngaire was really kind. The location was great with a beautiful view, making the stay very relaxing. Overall, it was a lovely stay!

Great property, great host, and wonderful stay! The property is spacious, well appointed, very clean and fresh, and a retreat away from home! We really enjoyed our stay with 3 adults and 6 kids at the property. We had plenty of space, enjoyed the fireplace with the wood provided, and even the chickens. As we have chickens at home that just added to the appeal. This location worked really well for hitting the glowworms and Hobbiton!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We especially loved the pool—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

Yana has been amazing, our team stayed for two weeks at her lovely accommodation, she was very easy going and pleasant to deal with, we will be back in the area soon and are hoping we can stay again. The team were very pleased with the accommodation too, the spa bath was a lovely addition after a hard day's work, they also enjoyed watching the stars and listening to the birds - it was a perfect escape from the busy day on the road. We highly recommend Yana's hideaway to anyone!

We absolutely loved our stay. Nathan was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to use his place for our small wedding ceremony. It was the most amazing day and we really enjoyed our entire stay. Thanks again Nathan!! We will always remember this beautiful space that we held our special day at. ☺️

Loved our stay here. Godfrey and Crystal were both welcoming and very friendly. The cottage was delightful and extremely well appointed. We felt very comfortable. It is in a lovely peaceful setting. Our dog enjoyed his stay there too. We look forward to visiting again.

Let me just say, if i am ever in Tauranga again (from Florida), I know a fantastic B&B. Laura is a warm and welcoming host and her accommodation is clean, stylish, and comfortable. She is a detail person and it shows. We loved the neighborhood. Mount Maunganui was an easy drive and a great hike. The hot water pool at the base was relaxing. Laura cooked for us one night after a full day of activity. Delicious. Our stay at Laura's was a highlight of our NZ holiday.

This house is stunning! We had a family holiday here over Easter, to create memories together before some of us move overseas and it was just perfect. It had enough space that we could all relax without feeling on top of each other, amenities that made us so comfortable (shout out to the coffee machine!), beautifully comfortable beds and linen and set in such a peaceful spot. We couldnt recommend this stay more for those needing a bit of space, a touch of luxury and a home that’s well suited for all ages! Toddler friendly, teen friendly, grandparent friendly! 🩷

Bob and Jess has a beautiful house with an amazing view that you can wake up too. House was so cozy and warm and then as hosts were so helpful whenever I needed to ask them something. The house was clean and had even extra things that we forgot to bring so that was super amazing. 10/10 recommend this place. Will definitely come back again

Bruce was great and so welcoming to me and my dog. The place had everything we needed and only a few minutes drive from the beach.

Very nice clean property. It had everything in the kitchen so that we could cook and have snacks. Wonderful entertaining spaces. Comfortable beds and linens. Nice quality furniture and finishes. Location is super!

Our stay at the cabin with our Labrador was absolutely perfect. The cabin itself was so comfortable with everything you need including a great shower and very comfy bed, set in the most gorgeous valley with views of the hills and forest. The outside deck space was fantastic, and use of the BBQ to cook while the sun sets was great. The river is absolutely stunning and our dog loved having a paddle. It’s the perfect spot to explore walks in the park and the cute town of Thames. I would thoroughly recommend. Katrina and her family were so friendly and helpful as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Great find! Highly recommend Annette’s guesthouse if you need a place to stay in Pauanui. Immaculate, comfortable and a very accomodating and friendly host. Thank you for having us.
