The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum is one of the "Three Great Dinosaur Museums in the World" and is a sacred place for dinosaurs that attracts attention from all over the world. It also provides convenient access to Katsuyama, a ski resort with one of the largest slopes in Western Japan. This area, which receives snow unique to the Sea of Japan side due to the cold, dry northwest wind, boasts a blessed snow quality and abundant snowfall. In the green season, you can enjoy the Dinosaur Land and Katsuyama Nature School. Barbecue facilities are also available. Capacity: 12 people. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.
