Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Ontonagon County

This home was a lovely place for my friends and I to spend the weekend w/and indoor sauna downstairs in the walkout basement and an outdoor hot tub. There were games and an assortment of essentials in case you forgot something at home. The host was wonderful and provided an excellent and well-organized introduction to the area. She was very responsive and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. For families or groups with differing bedtimes, it may be important to know that 2 of the 3 bedrooms are in the loft and therefore open to the main living room/dining room/ kitchen sounds. However, there is a secondary living room space another level down with games and a dart board to hang out in without bothering anyone trying to sleep upstairs. The spiral staircase is the only way to get to the upper 2 rooms. However, the other bedroom and all the living spaces are accessible from a regular staircase outside. The home was very peaceful with lots natural light. We'd absolutely stay again!

Excellent place with a great view of powderhorn. The basement is awesome with the nice pool table, bar, hot tub and suana. Looking forward to my next stay here!

Nice quiet home to get away and big enough for the family, kitchen has EVERYTHING, fireplace and decor very cabin cozy, hot tub very clean

Fresh clean place. Worked well for my group of snowmobiling men. I will certainly keep this place in mind for booking more trips.

Our stay was at the "Skyward" facility and we used it as a family getaway for our growing family. There was ample room for each of our guests to eat, sleep and move about, even with some middle aged children. We were not there during the ski season but with the property less than 200' from a run at Big Powderhorn, I could see this being extremely convenient for those visiting during the ski season. We certainly enjoyed our stay and found it to be close to anything we needed, whether it be entertainment or purchases. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals and the dining area is sufficient. There are plenty of individual bedrooms for privacy when needed and the bathrooms are plentiful and properly stocked as well. We enjoyed our stay completely, cooked every meal on-site and would recommend this property to any large group.

Very spacious and clean house. Hosts are right next door and were very helpful and responsive. Will definitely stay again!

Great way to spend time at Lake Superior. Fit our large family gathering well. The kitchens are small but the porch extends the gathering area for group meals. The furnishings are rustic but comfortable. The bathrooms on each floor made getting ready for the day and bed very comfortable for each family. The yard is great for kids to play around, the house was a great fit for our gathering. We love the UP!

The place was spotless. The fire was cozy, the hot tub was hot, and was perfect for our ski weekend minus the sub zero temps.

We absolutely loved our stay! The connivence of the ski in and ski out was amazing. The rooms were a good size. Pillows comfy. We had three children with us that loved the bunk bed bedroom. The hot tub was clean and a perfect way to end the night after skiing. There is a puzzle and an arcade machine available for family fun. We would have loved to see a deck of cards or board game; but generally speaking those are items that can be brought from home. Overall, the cabin was perfect..

Great place, wonderful host , perfect ski in - ski out location, highly recommend!

The AIRBNB we had booked for a ski weekend cancelled our reservation 4 hours before check in after driving from Chicago through nonstop snowstorms over 2 days due to a "double booking" . We located this property because it was a busy weekend and not much else was available with the assistance of AIRBNB support. So happy we were able to stay here! Location was perfect as we were skiing at Big Powderhorn (1 min away) and Snowriver (15 min away). The villa was clean and exactly as described. The kids had a great time in the hot tub after a long day on the hills and the adults had a great time warming up next to the fireplace with a cocktail. Slept 3 adults and 4 kids comfortably and we did not feel crowded at all. Kitchen and all amenities were perfect for our needs. Will definitely look up this listing again next year when we return for our annual trip to the UP.

We originally booked a different place, but when the host found out we’d be skiing at Big Powderhorn, they kindly offered to switch us to this unit. It was such a pleasant surprise and far exceeded our expectations! We’ll definitely be coming back next season.

The Alpen Villa was a perfect spot for our ski weekend at Big Powderhorn. A great ski in/ski out villa right on the slopes. At night, the hot tub and Ms PAC-Man arcade machine kept everyone entertained. Would definitely rent here again.

The water falls and hiking areas are conveniently near by, the view is amazing. If your looking for an amazing weekend i suggest taking the trip and rejuvenate your family life and your love in each other because it really help my family and I.
