This is the third time we stayed at Thamarai villa! It's such a fantastic place we feel at home the moment we enter. My toddler loves it here . Although the booking is just for one cottage, you have access to the entire property which is a wonderfully maintained large garden. The host and staff are very friendly and helpful. We also appreciate the kitchen stocked with the right equipment - it's quite easy to cook here. The icing on the cake are the dogs who are the friendliest dogs I have met.

We had a wonderful stay in Perar—peaceful and surrounded by lush tea gardens. The host was responsive, and the caretaker team was always helpful. Amma cooked delicious meals, and Stephen took us on a hidden forest trail that led to a stunning mountain view. We also loved the tea factory tour and the visit to Stephen’s carrot farm. Highly recommended for a quiet, nature-filled getaway!

Staying at the heritage cottage in Ooty was like stepping back in time. The ambiance was absolutely enchanting, with vintage furniture, roaring fireplaces, and stunning views of the Nilgiri Hills. We had an incredible 2-night stay at this beautiful villa with our family! The amenities were top-notch, and the surroundings were breathtaking. Waking up to the soothing sounds of nature was a treat in itself. The villa was perfect for a relaxing getaway, and we felt right at home. A special mention to our host, Wilfred, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. He was helpful and provided excellent service, making our experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat amidst nature. We can't wait to come back and experience it again! 5 stars and a big thumbs up from us!

good location, host is good and overall value for many.

The support staff where very kind and helpful. Did not hesitate for assisting us. Had few issues with water geyser due to inconsistent power supply, but was sorted out quickly once raised. Anyhow would recommend for instant geysers as we need to wait for more than half an hour for the geysers to heat up and supply hot water which was bit uncomfortable. On the whole the stay was wonderful and had a breathtaking view from couple of bedrooms.

The listing is exactly as shown. Great place to hang out and relax with friends or family, especially for larger groups. Host and caretaker are both very helpful and accommodative. For easy check in, make sure to request the caretaker number beforehand since the map location is slightly off which makes it a little difficult to find the property.

It’s an Awesome stay, I admit. Care taker was so kind enough in serving us and it’s so private which made our stay so pleasant and memorable. I recommend this place for all peace and nature lovers. And I should mention three doggies were so friendly. Overall we spent our leisure time in an extraordinary environment and cherish the memories forever:-)

One has to try their green chicken!! It’s so yummy. Anand and Vybhav were very helpful and always responsive. We had great time and also its very close to the safari gate as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing property at a peaceful location, with clear night skies and a crisp, cold during our visit. You can enjoy delicious meals prepared by the caretaker, Mr. Lethif, at a nominal charge. Breakfast is complimentary and is good. The host, Mr.Pronoy was very responsive and guided us for the local activities. However, we chose to stay at the property as property and it's surroundings were beautiful.

Our stay at Kalikavu has been the highlight of our 3 week trip exploring South India and loved by everyone in our group of 8 people - children and grown ups alike. The lush surroundings of rubber, betel nut and coconut trees and colourful plants with the mountains seen in the distance made it a perfect place to relax and take in nature. We all wish we could have stayed longer. Louis, Riyas and the ladies who prepared delicious meals for us were really helpful and made our stay very special. Particular thanks to Riyas who took us on a walk to the hidden waterfall where we all enjoyed a refreshing swim. We would definitely recommend Kalikavu to anyone wanting to explore Silent Valley and enjoy the beauty the valley has to offer.

Wonderful stay with my family and beautiful scenery surroundings. Great place place to spend quality private time in Kotagiri. The home cooked food was delicious and must try pallipalayam chicken & fish curry. Host and manager very helpful during my stays.

I am streemly thankful to the host and his father Mr.Desingh for such a nice property. We have comfortably stayed there with our family. Mr.Desingh (Owner of the property) is very helpful and friendly, he stays on the first floor and property on ground floor for guest. The car parking and place for driver was available. We have used his washing machine as our some clothes got wet due to rain. In our 3 days stay rain added some difficulty in site seen so spent lots of time at the property and made tea and enjoyed few home cooked meal from his kitchen in the property. There is nothing to do at property for kids as no game nor TV was active due to non working of wifi and cable connection which disappointed us. In summary property is excellent for the stay of 6-7 people.

Great stay. The host was extremely helpful. We reached the place late because of traffic and all the restaurants were closed but the host cooked food for us and stayed awake. Coming to the stay itself, it was a great place to hangout with friends. The rooms were nice and big. All the basic facilities were available and the host was in constant communications in case we needed anything. The surrounding is nice and near a small town which gives you access to all the basic needs like groceries, general stores, etc. You can have peaceful morning walks and explore the gardens. There is also a nice waterfall nearby along with a lake because of the dam.

My recent stay at the columpton house was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled amidst the lush greenery and serene landscapes of the Nilgiris, the cottage provided the perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and charm. The cottage’s location is one of its strongest points. Situated just a few kilometers from the town center, it offers easy access to local attractions. The cottage itself was quaint and well-maintained, with a cozy, rustic feel that immediately made us feel at home. The rooms were spacious and clean, featuring comfortable beds. The large windows allowed for plenty of natural light. Perfect for the cool Ooty evenings🙂 not only for us but also for our PETS.

We were 8 adults, 1 infant & 2 cats. The property is perfect for a large group as it has ample space both inside & outside. The hospitality was impeccable. The food, even better! it was so good that we ended up having breakfast & dinner for 2 days from Sunshine itself. Although Venkat doesn't stay in the property, he was extremely helpful till the day we checked out. Must visit if you are looking for a pleasant stay with family/friends.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The location is quiet and peaceful, and the view from the house is great. The house itself is well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, and it was spotlessly clean. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor setting. The trees around the property attract lots of birds. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable time, and we would definitely recommend this place!

Esha has a very nice, cosy property in Conoor that is at a walkable distance from the city centre and other eateries. The house is very spacious and has all the necessary amenities. All the bathrooms were bright and clean with plenty of natural light. It has a nice lawn in front where you can lounge on chairs enjoying the Conoor air and beautiful views. Special shoutout to Josephine who was the cook cum caretaker for helping us to check in seamlessly, with food and other details. We enjoyed our 2 nights at Esha's. The hostess helped us with bonfire and barbecue too. Esha was very responsive to whatever queries we had prior to booking the place. I would recommend Esha's property to everyone.

Great location surrounded with nature & is a perfect escape from the city crowd. Loved the hospitality & the service. Will definitely visit again.
