Wonderfully comfortable basement apartment. We are less than a mile from Winchester Medical Center.... ideal for traveling doctors/nurses. Close to other area attractions. You will have your own living room, bathroom and bedroom. Private entrance. Digital lock. You will get instructions prior to check in. You will be in the basement however it has natural light in the bedroom. There may be some noise from upstairs, but it is generally quiet.

This was the perfect place to stay for a family getaway. We hiked, enjoyed coffee out on the patio, had a fire in the fire pit and shared meals in the well appointed kitchen. The area has beautiful parks and some delicious food.

We loved our stay at Jenny’s place! The views were great, the place was spotless, and she even left us a half dozen farm fresh eggs for breakfast, which were delicious. They have a few cats that run around a lot upstairs, but they were not a problem (we saw a few in the window and they were adorable). We will want to come back out to the Shenandoah Valley again, and when we do, we really hope to stay here again!

The room was just as pictured and described. It was easy to find. The directions were clear. The room had a guest binder that made it easy to find a restaurant and I even enjoyed reading through the town history book. When we drove around town I pointed out buildings I had just learned about! There are motion activated lights in the hallways that I thought were a great touch! I loved the designated parking in the back.

We had a great stay in Old Town Winchester! The apartment was very cute and just full of character, and an easy walk to anywhere we wanted to go. Kim was an outstanding host, providing us with very detailed instructions on how to find the place and how to get in. She also recommended some great local restaurants and attractions.

From the moment I set foot on the property my heart skipped a beat. Everything about our stay was a perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy. All the practical things comfortable bed, cold ac, hot shower, well stocked kitchen, comfy couch, big windows for taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the bison. Getting into town was an easy 15min drive if you wish. But I never wanted to leave. I could not have wished for a better view of the bison. I watched them come out into the pasture every morning, sun bathe, munch on grass, roll in the dirt, and retire up the hill each evening. This was the most amazingly relaxing couple of days and more than I could have dreamed. I cannot wait to return.
