A stay in the wilderness cabin is a "back to the roots" experience, without sacrificing comfort and atmosphere. We meet and show you the cabin in person, so you can have the best possible experience. The cabin is simple, genuine and not connected to the rest of the world. Heat comes from the wood stove and with candles and oil lamps the atmosphere becomes magical. Electricity will have to wait until tomorrow. The cabin is equipped with a small and functional kitchen and has everything to make your "glamping" experience complete.

There is a road to the annex. With electricity, running cold/hot water, toilet and shower. There are duvets, pillows and bed linen in the annex. The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. Here you can relax and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly baked croissants. Suitable for 2 persons. Skogen is one of 3 stone cabins on the farm. The other two are Røysa and Åkeren. The house has verry good location for easy hiking, and great views of Gudbrandsdalen and Dovrefjell. - Can guide if available. Short way to alpineslope/ snowboardpark at Winter. The 2nd floor is newly renovated to receive guests. Simple breakfast included in price. There is now a complete kitchen on the 2nd floor. There is a shower and toilet attached to the rental area. A washing machine is installed in the bathroom.
