Cottage holiday rentals in Orpington

we stayed over the bank holiday whilst visiting family. fantastic and cosy cottage which suited us perfectly! the cottage was clean, warm and exactly as described. we will definitely be staying again when we next come to visit family. we accidentally left behind some glasses and Naomi was extremely fast to let us know and offered to post them which we were extremely appreciative off.

I cannot fault both Barry and Fay ! We had the most relaxing beautiful trip ! It was combined holiday trip and family wedding in Kent ! The property was so spacious and clean and both were so accommodating with our extra needs ! It was so lovely to go in the hot tub in morning and eve and play pool instead of watching tv! This is such a relaxing place to stay this is deffinatley the place to de stress and unwind just the perfect property to relax and enjoy the moment ! I would say they are perfect host … there if needed and also give you space … amazing is the best description !

Gorgeous cosy cottage - just what we wanted. We stayed here with our 3 year old and 8 month old. The place is just as gorgeous as the photos and immaculately clean and comfortable. Kirran is a fantastic host with lovely little extras. 15 min drive from Diggerland and up the road from a lovely little Zoo. The hot tub was fab - would definitely recommend.

A great use of space - cosy, comfortable and with all the modern amenities you’d need for a great stay! It’s retains a beautiful cottage charm, and the surrounding vineyard is spectacular. You get a lovely view from the private back garden that you can rest and relax in during the evening whilst you soak in the hot tub. The hosts left a lovely guide to help us navigate to some wonderful local sites and the cottage is a great base to explore the surrounding countryside from, and had left a welcome gift in the fridge which was a delight. There is convenient off road parking, and it’s only a 15 minute drive to a supermarket, takeaway or restaurant. Even in late autumn, the microclimate was warm and gave us sun, and we’d love to revisit in the spring. The countryside is beautiful with spectacular views and historic buildings in every direction. We’d highly recommend this cottage and the hosts, it was a peaceful and relaxing stay and very enjoyable. Thank you to the Grape Escape!

We came down here for my son's 22nd birthday. He has always wanted to visit Japan so when I saw this house, I really wanted to try it out and surprise him as it looks like a beautiful traditional Japanese country house. It was exactly that ! it was so beautiful and made with so much attention to details , so peaceful , with a beautiful Zen garden and wind chimes. You can see the care that Nam and his wife have put in creating this space. It was like an experience. We only stayed one night but we will definitely come back !

Our group had a wonderful stay in this property. A beautiful historical house, cosy kitchen and fireplace to play board games in front of (or watch the rugby instead). Corner store was easily walkable, so too the local pub (we recommend the Crown). Perfect place to catch a break.

A lovely modern cottage, exactly as described and photographed. It was well kitted out and essentials were provided. The bed was super comfortable but just a gentle note that if you have any mobility issues the apex of the roof means that you cannot stand up straight around the bed and the bed is low but this was not a problem on our stay. Helena and Philip were both really friendly and helpful. My personal favourite touch was when Philip invited me to pick some roses from the cottage garden to take inside. The hot tub was a real treat but please be mindful that you are in someone’s back garden so not completely secluded if they are enjoying their own space. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back.

Fabulous cottage in a very quiet part of Kent, this was the ideal location for my son’s 30th birthday weekend. Gluten free brownies and wine to welcome us, and Fran added some little touches for his birthday. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. The Greyhound pub also made us extremely welcome and there were added touches for his birthday there as well. The hot tub is a brilliant addition and was well used over our weekend stay. We would highly recommend this cottage, Fran was the perfect host and the whole experience was brilliant.

Lovely place in beautiful surroundings with great walks from the door. Perfect for a relaxed couple of days and the weather was on our side!

A super relaxing stay at this lovely cottage. We visited nearby ightham mote and great comp garden. Graham was great in terms of checking that everything was all fine. Definitely would return.

A spacious clean and homely cottage. We had everything we needed. Even my dog had a good place to run around and played with Jackie’s dog. Bed was very comfortable tvs in every room. Garden safe for my dog

We enjoyed our stay at the Fancy Cottage in Kew. Suzanne's cottage was close to Kew Gardens and just steps to the Thames Path as advertised. We enjoyed having our coffee in the sunny breakfast area or eating in after a day of activities. Bedrooms were good sized and it was great having two bathrooms. Easy walk to nice restaurants in Kew. Easy access to Richmond and London by bus or tube. Overall, very peaceful place to stay and enjoy Kew with easy access to all London has to offer.

We loved our stay here, perfect weekend escape for our family. Beautiful garden which our dog and son loved. House was lovely, and had toys for our son to play with. Bedrooms very comfortable. We were made to feel really welcome. Would love to stay again sometime

Absolutely loved this little house, everything you need for a stay away from home. Great location and the garden is a little sun trap. The bath is also amazing we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay, such a shame we only arrived for 1 night, perhaps next time we will organise our diary better, so the full weekend would be perfect! Great place, walking distance to the beach (like 2min walk! which was perfect for our little kids) and I wouldn’t change a thing! We so hope so to be back!

We had a great stay at The Gingerbread House. The house was spotless, beds comfortable and Jo was great. We were visiting family in Bromley and Sevenoaks and the accommodation was perfect for access to M25 and A21. Many thanks

Needed a place to crash for 6 weeks while having work done at home. It had everything we needed. Good responsive host, has made every effort to ensure all amenities were available. Highly recommend for short or long stays.. close to railway, motorway and shops.. Only improvement I would recommend is up security. No alarm, no external CCTV and only a single Yale lock on front door..

My husband and I stayed for a few nights over a weekend. The coach house is absolutely lovely. It is very comfortable, private, quiet, peaceful and was a nice respite from having spent time in busy London. You have everything you need to relax, sleep well and cook in. The place is nicely designed, tastefully decorated and clean. Petra greeted us upon arrival, showed us around and left us lovely provisions (decadent cakes!) to get us started on a nice weekend. We went for long walks/runs in Richmond Park (a 5 min walk away), and enjoyed hanging out in the house on a rainy Saturday. A large Sainsbury's is a 15-min walk away, and the Noribiton station is a 20 min walk. The coach house is located in a peaceful neighborhood with little traffic. We walked or took public transport. All in all, a fantastic, quiet getaway. We would definitely stay again.

We were down in the area to visit Brighton and Christine's place is a great place to stay over on the way down. Although being so close to the airport it is surprisingly quiet. The bungalow has everything you could need and the beds are really comfy. Christine is friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Castle Cottage. The cottage was clean, generally as described and very homely. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and found so much to do locally during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend! Thank you Fiona!

We had a great stay at Lychgate House, it felt like a real home from home. Everything was good and as described and shown in the photos. On top of that the bed was very comfy and it was so quiet at night. Lovely to hear the church bells in the daytime. Marie was a great host, very friendly and helpful.

Stayed for just over a week, perfect location, beautiful views, and plenty of wildlife. House was ideal for us - 2 families (4 adults, 1 teen and an infant) . Highly recommend and would love to return. So many places to visit close by, but also a great base if you want to go further afield. House was very clean and fresh, and we loved the little welcome pack!
