Holiday houses in Orthonies

we had an amazing time in Nikos his villa. the place is enormous and even more beautiful than on the pictures. very close by are 2 mini markets with the necessary stuff and there are good restaurants close by. the shipwreck viewpoint is very close by. unfortunately it was cloudy during our stay but otherwise I am certain the sunset would have been amazing as well! one note, there are 3 bedrooms but 2 of them upstairs are quite Light as there are windows close to the ceiling which cannot be covered. the bedroom downstairs though is perfect. thank you Nikos for this amazing place!!

There are literally not enough words to explain how incredible this villa is. From the moment we arrived, this was the most perfect stay. The home was pristine and quiet, everything was super comfortable and clean, there was a goodie bag filled with snacks, wine, and local jam waiting for us. There was an adorable black kitten outside who became our best friend, and being able to jump into the small waves on the private section of the beach was a dream come true. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect honeymoon getaway.

Harrys’ villa was excellent. The place was beautiful and very clean. There is a great view with a pool that comes right up to the edge of the villa. The air conditioning was strong (great for me and my wife because we like it cold at night). What really stood out was Harrys himself though. He is a wonderful, responsive host. He was there to check us in and brought us US wall adapters for our electronics. When my wife needed to do her hair, he brought over a straightener for us. He gave us a dinner recommendation to Prosilio’s (recommend!) and called the owner to let him know we were coming. When we got there, the owner greeted us and offered us a free dessert on the house. Harrys really made our stay incredible and demonstrated that famous Greek hospitality. 10/10 would recommend and will likely go again.

This place was INCREDIBLE. We can't say enough good things about the house and the host. House: The place was immaculate. They've done a beautiful job in the design of the place. There are endless spaces to relax, enjoy the views, and lounge comfortably. The beds and couches were cozy and the views are spectacular. The Location: The house is located on the quieter side of the island and was exactly what we wanted for our relaxing vacation. It was a short drive to half a dozen or more stunning and non-crowded beaches and lots of delicious and charming restaurants. Renting a car is a must and will make exploring the area much easier. The Host: George is the best. He's very responsive and went above and beyond in making our stay comfortable. He even baked us fresh cookies for our arrival. What a gem. A lovely home. Roads are fairly narrow right there at it, but we didn’t have any trouble because there was limited traffic. The owner met us at the house to let us in late at night. We booked the same day we arrived and they were extremely flexible. They even brought us water bottles. We did have trouble navigating the hot water for showers. It’s possible we just didn’t listen well enough to the process as it was explained to us, but the next morning we were not able to get warm showers although the night before the water was warm. The exterior of the home was unsuspecting and we were pleasantly surprised with the interior. It looked like the pictures. I would not let the exterior of the home, deter you from staying here at all. We heard some chickens in the night and learned the next morning they were right outside the window. You may hear a dog barking too. There was a distant view of the sea from the balcony. It’s also really easy access to things to do in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the tiny house! The attention to detail on how the house is built and decorated is impeccable. On top of that, all the essentials are provided such as oil, pepper & salt, washing pods for dishwasher and washing machine, the host even provided some period pads (!), etc. The view is breathtaking and very private, the Askos Stone Park is right in front of the house so you’re really immersed into Zakynthos’ nature. This place is a hidden gem and really worth booking.

Wow! What can we say! This place is just amazing! Stunning location, so peaceful & a beautiful view of surrounding mountains & the ocean. The villa itself is spotlessly clean , the beds are comfy, lots of fluffy white towels plus dressing gowns & slippers included. Lovely beach/pool towels also included. The host (Arthur) was nothing short of incredible, he met us at the villa upon arrival to show us around, sent a list as long as your arm for places to visit & eat at & even put us in touch with a lovely guy to hire a boat from. He also messaged over our stay to ask if we needed anything. The pool was cleaned daily & house keeping pop in to bring fresh towels etc. I would say this villa is in a perfect spot to explore the islands hot spots & beaches. A few places around the corner are fabulous for food - Skinos, Orientes & Nobelos to name a few. Lovely little marina too. We also drove around 50 minutes to Zante town. Beautiful, rustic cottage with a very big garden that provides privacy and peace. The cottage is even nicer than in the photos. You can walk to the sea in a moment in a swimsuit and return to the cottage for something at any time. The stone descent to the sea is safe. 5 minutes from the cottage there is a beautiful, small beach hidden among rocky cliffs (you have to go through the seaside beach bar). It is surprisingly close to restaurants and shops. Mary answers very quickly to all the stupidest questions and requests :) It was a very nice stay
