Cabin holiday rentals in Oslo Municipality

FOR a fantastic place!! We were a large group that rented two cottages from Michael Angelo. Both were enormously beautiful, with fantastic views of the water, swimming opportunities and all the facilities. The host provided very good information so we felt well taken care of. Well-equipped kitchen, good beds, new and fresh interior, and important details such as dark curtains were all in place. We will definitely be back!

Spent New Year here, fantastic views, very comfortable accomodation, well equipped if you chose to self cater, would recommend.

The cabin was super cosy, clean and comfortable. Thanks to the forest surrounding it, you don’t feel like you are in such a close proximity to Oslo at all! The hot tub outside was a highlight of the trip and it was also super easy to use. Highly recommend!

I had the most incredible stay at Pilterudlia Panorama — truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The view from the home is absolutely breathtaking, easily one of the most stunning landscapes you could hope to wake up to. Every detail in the home reflects thoughtful planning by the hosts, from the cozy interiors to the barbecue setup and even a basketball hoop for some fun downtime. The location is perfect for nature lovers — with beautiful walking trails through the wilderness and serene picnic spots along the fjords, it felt like a peaceful escape into nature. The hosts were exceptional — incredibly prompt, helpful, and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed. If I could give this stay more than 5 stars, I would! I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly, highly recommend.

This is a great cabin next to a lake with a privat beach. The place is basic but great for a cabin. We where suprised the shower was outside and the toilet is just beside one of the bedrooms.

Helge was extremely approachable and helpful host - he even picked us up at the train station due to the bad weather forecast the day we arrived. The place was very clean and cosy, and had all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Very nice outdoor area as well with outside fireplace and terrace. Beautiful surroundings for hiking or just enjoying the scenery. Overall a very pleasant stay and Helge was very helpful with whatever you might need. Recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay with you, full of activities in the surrounding area. Kamil gave us a lot of great recommendations. The apartment was very spacious, very well equipped, full of games for children. In short, nothing to complain about, we loved it. Thank you very much.

Sindre's cabin is very cozy and conveniently decorated, and matches exactly with descriptions and photos. It is quiet and peaceful in stunning nature. Sindre very helpful and replied quickly to our inquiries. Highly recommended!

We spent one night in the cabin. Good bus connection with a short hike. Incredibly beautiful area, perfect for hiking, close to the capital. Despite 10 degrees Celsius in the center of Oslo there was still snow and ice on the trails. Keep this in mind when traveling in early spring. The cabin is heated so there is no need to light a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped.

The cabin might lack exterior beauty. Although it has a Norwegian charm. But the inside makes up for it and the location is beautiful. The forest and surrounding nature gets undersold in the pictures. I have seen many forests but this one Is a gem. There are also great fishing opportunities nearby for those interested! Caught myself a PR trout! The long gravel road up to the cabin is pretty bumby and worn, but serves some amazing views and serene forest vibes! On the map it might look like you are in the middle of a densly packed cabin field. I was slightly worried that it would feel exposed. But when I arrived at the cabin I saw that you can't see a single other cabin from the front porch. So no worries. It feel private :) Highly recommend booking a stay at Storefri for a true forest cabin feel despite not being far from the city.

This was the 2nd time we borrowed the house and we had a great time: Swimming and jacuzi, barbecues and pizza dinner with its own pizza oven, quiet mornings with coffee and beautiful views, and walks by boat, paddle board and kayak. We would gladly came back next year.

Our stay at kajas property was amazing. The cabin is beautiful and has an amazing view with access to the lake. Kaja was a very accommodating, helpful and friendly, giving us water and extra bedding. Highly recommend this airbnb!

Nice place, would recommend.

Very nice landlord who responds immediately. Beautiful nature to take long walks or hikes. Lake for swimming and possibly fishing 30 minutes by foot or a little shorter by car. One morning we could even see a lynx. For a trip to Oslo we only needed 20min by car (or by bus, as parking difficult and very expensive). Thanks for the nice getaway
