Cabin holiday rentals in Otero County

We absolutely loved staying in this cabin. The location is easy to get to, yet secluded enough to feel like it’s in the trees. The patio is where we spent the majority of our time grilling and just hanging out. The kitchen is beautiful and has all the essentials for cooking a great meal, or just having a morning coffee. The bedroom downstairs was a pleasant surprise for our inlaws, it was private and it allowed them to have time away from the “main” part of the house. This cabin is cozy and exactly what we were looking for. The communication from the host was phenomenal. When we come back to Ruidoso, we will definitely be staying here. Thank you SO much.

This listing needs better photos or a video because they don’t do justice to how spacious and amazing this place really is. It’s super clean, and the grill is connected to a gas line, which made grilling easy without having to worry about propane. I brought my six kids and we had an absolute blast. The game room was a hit, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The jacuzzi, 2.5 bathrooms, and two kitchen tables make it perfect for large groups. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Cuddle Up cabin is a perfect spot for a weekend getaway or longer. The cabin itself is nicely furnished, comfortable, and well stocked with essentials. Beds were comfortable, living room was good for family lounging, and the hot tub was perfect and relaxing after exploring Ruidoso all day. Instructions were provided and clear. Local recommendations were appreciated. Our only complaint is the lack of clothing storage so we really had to just live out of suitcases, which isn't that big of a deal, more of a convenience thing. Overall five out of five, would rent again!

The cabin was lovely, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The view is beautiful, and the porch is a delightful spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

Peaceful location bordering FS with trailhead. Hiking and trail running right out the backdoor. Pet paradise for the outdoor adventurous pups.

Very nice cabin among the pines. Cabin was clean, roomy, and had lots of amenities. Especially was impressed with kitchen supplies and towels for bathroom were plentiful. The owners were quick with responses and very helpful when needed. You’ll enjoy your time here and make great memories.

This tiny house was a great get away. Check in was smooth and easy. All amenities that were needed such as plates,cups,silverware, towels, extra blankets and even a blow dryer was even available if needed. Roku was setup on both tvs for easy movie access. The scenery from the house was beautiful, even had a group of deer come by for a visit. Any and all questions that were asked were acknowledged without hesitation. We even had a visit from Josh whom offered a tour of the surroundings on his side by side. This offer was politely declined due to our laziness lol. Thank yall again so much for use of this beautiful tiny house, we hope to stay again sometime.

We had a great stay and loved the cabin very much. It had everything we needed and the upstairs bed was very comfy. The only negative comment we could make is the parking was kind of inadequate (not much room to park a pickup). We would highly recommend this place if you going for a stay in Cloudcroft.

Our Host, Nancy, proactively communicated with us about expectations and providing helpful location suggestions. The house was extrememly homy, clean and had easy access for all. Our host included numerous details to make our stay more comfortable such as handicap rails at steps and shower, hooks, night lights and kitchen supplies. The highlight is definitely the outside deck. We spent our entire evening on the back deck watching the elk and deer. We were even able to listen in on their conversations as the herd gathered for the end of the day. We would definitely stay at Happy's Place again.

My family and I absolutely loved the cabin and peaceful area. The cabin is comfortable and super cute! We definitely would stay here again in the future. Host was very helpful and quick to respond. We appreciated the stay! 🙏🏼

The Cabin was amazing!! SO peaceful. My favorite part was our children exploring behind the house and discovering new adventures. Everything was well organized and clean. If you can't find it in their kitchen it doesn't exist. Cyndy was super friendly, extremely responsive. Really the perfect host. WE WILL BE BACK!

The rate was a little high, but not too much. The cabin looked great plus it was the only 2-bedroom cabin that would allow only a single night stay. The cabin is in a good location and we would definitely stay there again, except for one thing. The "treehouse" description was accurate. But the stair way (about 20 steps) is difficult and steep as the steps are very short. We are not young (retirees) and found it very difficult to climb up and down to the cabin. No problem when we were younger. So, very sadly, we will not be able to stay there again. Maybe the host could give an accurate description of the climb to access the cabin in case the guests are not "young". But, a great cabin!

Beautiful area and loved seeing elk nearby.

I stayed in William’s cabin for a week while exploring cloudcroft and the surrounds. It was perfectly comfortable and suitable for my needs. It’s about 0.5 miles from the downtown area of cloudcroft which made for a delightful walk whenever I’d go for food or coffee. The neighborhood the cabin is in is very tight and with winding roads but I managed to drive in and park just fine in a big F250. I highly recommend and would like to stay again if I return to Cloudcroft.

Great place!

The house was as described, in a beautiful mountainside neighborhood. Having AC was a lifesaver due to the unseasonably hot weather, and we stayed very comfortable for the entire visit. Host was responsive and provided lots of great local recommendations. I would 100% visit again.
