It is 9 km to Alfta city center, where there is a grocery store, restaurants, swimming pool, library, tennis hall, ski track, migrant museum, etc. Also nearby are two Hälsingegårdar that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There is no running water. We fill up water before check-in and it can be easily picked up at a nearby water source. The toilet is equipped with a new incineration toilet.
