The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Also near by is the Rail trail, Golf course and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet. With an adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda.Great sunsets, starry nights, wood fire and a nearby mountain stream also on the property. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.

Luxury accommodation for 2 in a king bed, complimentary champagne on arrival, free WiFi, Netflix TV(using your own login),kitchenette, bathroom and lounge area. Ideally located on the rail trail and the Great Alpine Road it is the perfect location for a romantic getaway. Lupo’s is open for dinner on Thu, Fri and Sat nights & lunch on Fri, Sat and Sun. LUPO’S KILN CAFE WILL BE CLOSED FROM JUNE 21 2026 TILL LATE SEPT.

Saje's House

Sajes' House is self contained. It has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a comfortable living room, 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed; the master with a king, (the king can be split for a nominal fee), 2 bathrooms and a laundry. Sajes Pod is a separate 2 storey studio with a queen bed, ensuite and an upstairs living area with kitchenette. The House and Pod may be rented separately. A shared undercover deck area links the House and the Pod.
