Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, Kaulinranta village. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

The outdoor house at Snöberget

Friluftshuset at Snöberget is located at the foot of the Snöberget Nature Reserve and right by the Råneå River. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the Lapland landscape just outside the house, while also having easy access to activities such as hiking, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and swimming in the summer. This house is also perfect for viewing the northern lights. In addition, we have a very nice barbecue area in the yard, which guests are more than welcome to use.

Nordic catch cabin

Enjoy your stay in our red wooden cabin just a 5 minute drive away from Jockfall. Jockfall is a well known fishing spot for Baltic Salmon in Europe. Our cabin has all the basics, including a boiler, woodstove and air heating pump. In this cabin you can recharge from sightseeing the beautifull nature. Enjoy the different seasons, 24h light during midsummer or the beautifull Northern lights during Autumn and Winter. Optional fishing guiding available, send us a message.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. Our vacation home in Swedish Lapland is ideal for nature lovers. During the winter, you can take a trip with sled dogs or rent a snowmobile. The house is a 5-minute drive from a sledding, cross-country and ski slope. In the summer, you can canoe on the river or rent a boat. The famous salmon fishing hotspot Jockfall is only half an hour's drive away. You can enjoy both the midnight sun and the northern lights. Come and experience the magic of the Arctic!

The town center and its shops are just a five-minute drive away. The house is fully equipped and includes snowshoes, sleds, games, a barbecue hut (Grillkota), and a sauna.
