Husmannsplassen Maltjernmoen ligger helt for seg selv ca 6 km inn på skogsbilvei kun 2 meter ifra vannet Maltjenn. Med bilvei helt frem til døra. Her kan man nyte roden og freden, gå turer i et fantastisk tur terreng eller fiske i et av de mange vanna i skogen rundt. Her finnes det abbor gedde og ørret. Fiskekort må da løyses.
