"A scenic place loved by the people of Manyo" Miyataki is a small hamlet in Yoshino, the beautiful home of Manyō, which is a World Heritage Site and is also said to be "Japan's top cherry blossom viewing spot." Miyataki was once the site of the emperor's secondary residence, "Yoshinomiya," and is also a place steeped in history where the "Jinshin Rebellion" took place. Many poems praising the scenic beauty of Miyataki are included in the Manyoshu. This area, where the clear Yoshino River flows, is known as one of the best river play spots in the Kansai region, and it is crowded with many river play visitors during the summer vacation period. We decided to renovate a 100-year-old traditional house where my grandparents lived for many years as umbrella and lantern craftsmen in Miyataki and revive it as "Chouchin no Yado". Taking advantage of its location "right by the river where you can play", this accommodation is easy to use even for large groups such as multiple households or friends. We hope you will use it as a base for sightseeing in Yoshino, river activities, and BBQs while feeling the breath of history and nature. There is a private sauna and a water bath (tarai) in the courtyard. If you love saunas, please come and enjoy them.

The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the space is reserved for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time freely, just like when you rent the entire property. A spacious area of approximately 230 m² can accommodate up to 8 people.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also easy access to Yoshinoyama, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kimpusenji Temple, a World Heritage Site. Kashinoki-an, a spacious, authentic Japanese-style inn with a beautiful garden and Japanese dolls and kimonos on display, 3 minutes from the station

Kashinoki-an is in a very convenient location, just a 3-minute walk from Kintetsu Kashihara-Jingu-Mae Station. Kashihara Jingu Shrine is a historic town with the mausoleum and shrine of the first emperor of Japan, in the place where Japan began. It is also a place with a lot of greenery and nature. In the neighborhood, there is Asuka, which retains the appearance of ancient Japan, and is dotted with many ruins. Imai-cho, where the old streets from the Edo period still exist, is also a highlight. Kashinoki-an is a pure Japanese-style house built over 60 years ago, and you can also enjoy the garden. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated for a pleasant stay. There is also a tourist information center, restaurant, tavern, supermarket, drug store, convenience store, and 100-yen shop nearby, making it very convenient. You can also get to Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara in about an hour.

5 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Shimoichiguchi Station. There is also a convenience store a 5-minute walk away, and the supermarket is about a 7-minute drive away. This inn, "Oyodo Sakuran", is a 70-year-old traditional house that I, a former firefighter, have lovingly renovated myself. We hope you can relax and unwind as though you were visiting a relative's house. While doing DIY and spending time here, I have come into contact with the richness of nature and the warmth of the local people many times. Eventually, this place began to feel like a "second home" to me. In addition, my wife, daughter, and mother helped with the interior design and creating the flow of the space. By incorporating a uniquely feminine perspective, we have created a space that prioritizes ease and comfort, so we are sure you will have a pleasant stay. Please relax and enjoy yourself.

Makomo House, a traditional Japanese house surrounded by Makomo fields, for rent with a campfire and Goemon-style bath

Makomo House is located in a mountain village at an altitude of 500 m on the Oku-Mikawa Plateau in Nara The 100-year-old house is a private rental. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. There is no TV or wifi, so why not turn off your digital devices and turn on your own sensibilities? Enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, such as the rustling of makomo leaves, the babbling of the river, the chirping of birds, the chorus of frogs, and the sound of deer.
