Sleeping for up to 5, quiet and peaceful location, with almost 4 acres off the beaten path down a short gravel road. Just over 800 square feet, built by hand by our father. Much of the wood furnishings inside were also made by him. Plenty of room to wander, or just sit and enjoy the peacefulness. Quick, friendly responses and good directions. In the middle of nowhere, with fields, forests, and a cattle pond out back-- perfect to get away from it all. Former ranch house, remodeled into a surprisingly spacious house with good facilities. We slept six people with the provided amenities, and two bathrooms got us through the morning routines quickly.

The place was decent other than the mattresses for the spare beds were pretty lumpy. We didn’t ask for any sort of help with those but I feel the owner should consider replacing them. Oven was turned on whether you liked it or not if it was plugged in. Kitchen has very basic appliances and utensils but served us just fine(except for the lack of a toaster). When we first got there it was suggested we communicate with Carolina through WhatsAp which is fine but we asked if there was a toaster, responded right away but ask for an additional pillow and she didn’t respond until I sent another msg through Airbnb. After that communication was spot on. The neighborhood seems poor and run down but everyone is nice and friendly. Lots of garbage floating in under the suite but they try to clean it as much as possible. All and all I would consider staying there again but would probably want to see other options just cause.

Adorable little cabin. We had a wonderful time. The only issue we had was the wifi didn't work so we had to use the hotspot from our phones to watch TV. It's basically in the pub parking lot so we went over to eat and check it out and had a great time.

I stayed here during the week for a little solo staycation— I live about an hour away but this place gave me hopes of one day being right on the river! It was the perfect peaceful reset, but also has everything you could ask for if you were having a little gathering. I will be on the lookout for open weekends to bring my family back to enjoy for sure! Location is perfect right on the river but within a super short walking distance to town for shopping/food! I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Our stay at The Cabin at the Creek was wonderful. Both the cabin and the surroundings were so peaceful . We enjoyed walking along the quiet dirt road and down to the sitting area by the creek . You could hear the relaxing water from the sitting area at the cabin as well! The cabin was so fresh and clean with lots of natural light coming in the windows! Our host was so warm, friendly, and ready to help with anything . The cabin was closer to other houses than you could tell on the listing (a barn sits between the cabin and the hosts home) but it still felt fairly private and we only saw a couple vehicles drive by and one group on horseback the whole time we were there . Would definitely stay there again!
