Had an amazing stay! The place is beautiful, well-maintained, and easy to locate. The host was very responsive throughout, and Manju - the in-house help was extremely supportive. Overall, a fantastic experience and a must-stay!

Our group had an absolutely perfect stay at Kinkini Bandaragama! The expansive garden area was a huge hit with our group of eight people. We were able to set up for our morning yoga sessions easily and had plenty of room for games in the afternoon. Inside, the living room easily accommodated our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The quiet and secluded location made it perfect for our meditation retreat; the peaceful surroundings really enhanced our practice. The house is conveniently located just a short ten-minute drive from Pearl Bay Water Park. We also enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the serene Bolgoda Lake, just a short drive away. There's also a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The host, Tamara, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants. Asela is a great host!!! Very hospitable and friendly, always ready to help with all issues. We lived in the villa for a whole month. The house is always very clean, cleaning every few days. Convenient location of the house, just 10 minutes by tuktuk to the sea and all the establishments. We are very happy that we ended up here I highly recommend this villa, secluded accommodation surrounded by birds and beautiful nature Also really liked Asela's restaurant, one of the best we have visited! Thank you!

We had five nights at Villananda Villa. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a few days of R and R. We had just finished a bike ride through Sri Lanka and were looking for a bit of rest and peace. This place was excellent. Leading up to our visit Martin was excellent in his communication and very helpful. His manager Sampath was also excellent and very helpful organising transfers to and from the villa and also organising reliable Tuk Tuk drivers to take us to places of interest. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Sampath. The real gems were the two young men looking after us and the villa. Unfortunately I didn't quite work out their names but they cooked and cleaned and looked after us like family. We ate all our evening meals at the villa from the menu on offer and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Villa BBQ!! I think it was the best meal we had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and it was cooked on a home made BBQ at the villa. Fantastic!!

Lovely peaceful beautiful location by a river. It was like a mini totally private hotel with friendly helpful staff and a cook you can hire who will cook whatever you want. Beautifully, tastefully and interestingly furnished, some gorgeous big books to look through, 2 little boats and you can order a masseur to come to the house at very reasonably prices -it was so relaxing to have an ayuverdic massage by the river. Plus a super pool for a swim any time. It is slightly inland but for us that did not matter at all as we weren't looking for a beach stay. We all enjoyed our far too short stay and will definitely be recommending this villa and booking again next time we are in SL.

Such a secluded and peaceful location. The rooms are huge and the pool is great. It's a perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature - we saw monkeys, chipmunks, and no end of birds, including a huge eagle that would perch in the tree above the garden. Malan and his wife looked after us well (but were never overbearing) and Malan was always on hand to run us to the beach or shops in his tuktuk. Thanks also to Andrew who was very quick to respond to any queries. This is a hidden gem at a great price.

Beautiful villas in an authentic and natural location. Very clean, lovely pools and garden space leading straight onto the empty beach. We were so well looked after by everyone and the food cooked for us by Jagath was incredible. Julius was also very helpful and quick to respond to queries. Would very much recommend a stay here.

Great place had a great time and our extra guests were also accommodated with ease. Will come back again

Good place to stay

Wow. We absolutely adored the trip. The accommodation is simply stunning, every bedroom was spacious and the communal areas so well maintained. The staff were all attentive, helpful and polite. Mr Maha was always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed. He arranged a tour of a local tea factory and always had a lovely smile on his face. The location is very remote. There are bugs and insects. So take a driver (accommodation available) and bug spray. Food was lovely and a great choice. We had massages, which were arranged by Mr Maha and were absolutely fantastic. Some of our group did a cooking class which they loved. We all were able to taste their food. Genuinely such a beautiful place to stay surrounded by nature and peace. Five stars! Highly recommended

Great place to stay as a group or family in Wadduwa, the spaces and huge with a big pool and direct beach access. The staff were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home, the food prepared for us was some of the best Sri Lankan food we ate during our stay!

- We stayed with my whole family, total of 7 adults and a child. As soon as we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and kind. The place is beautiful, decor of the house is well thought through and so nice! 😍 - We also booked a cooking class for dinner time and breakfast! There was a little misunderstanding about breakfast, because you can choose between a few options but the staff again went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (which we were anyway 🙂). - Cooking class was interesting, they explained everything thoroughly and food so delicious! We also booked a private bartender who made cocktails while we enjoyed the cooking class, which was very good as well and between the group, great value for money! - swimming pool is nice and refreshing, and view from the top floor terrace is stunning! - overall I would highly recommend this place - it’s perfect for a group but it’s really the staff that makes it extra great!

We had an amazing stay! We are a family of 6 and we had 10 days in Sri Lanka, finalising with 3 days in this top Summer villa. Having 3 staff at our service was a nice add on and made our stay so much easier! Dimension of the rooms and the view were perfect! Pool was great, meals also and cleaning was spot on.

We are a group of 13 pax interior designers from Malaysia to visit Sri Lanka. Benjamis’s estate - the Nisala Arana is a hidden gem that we found at Bentota area! From before booking until check out, the whole process is so smooth and I was being rest assured everything will be taking care and Benjamin’s team proved it with their action. We were welcomed with cold towels and welcome drinks, great smile from chef Shan and the team, not to mention the perfectly clean room, swimming pool and the well maintained estate with swimming pool that come with bicycles. As there aren’t a lot of restaurant options so Benjamin offered us could get their in house chef to prepare breakfast and dinner for us and that is another best decision we made! Thank you for making our stay so memorable! It is definitely one of the highlight of our trip and we have really good private time to chill and bond in the estate. If you are in the Bentota, do book this estate!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, somewhat remote, villa with amazing surroundings. We walked down to the river, did yoga on the patio and had Ayurvedic treatments next door. The owner is a charming person with a beautiful vision for the place. He was very friendly and took time out to show us around the garden and let us try fresh herbs and spices. I would recommend to have a car so that you can get to Kandy and visit all beautiful and inspiring sights the area has to offer.

WOW, This is the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. the moment the gates opened we was greeted by chandana, priyantha and malani. a much needed welcome after the long journey. A refreshment and cold towel, was given to us by malani. The villa itself made even more special by these three Amazing people. The gardens are just the most stunning scenery pure bliss, the sounds of the wildlife inside and the surroundings are just amazing. Priyantha attends every morning and evening to clean the pool and surrounding garden the month we went was when the leafs fell from the tree he worked tirelessly everyday am and pm to assure the lawns was clear “for the children to play” he also took us to hikkaduwa most evenings, we would what’s app him and he would come and collect us. Malani also worked tirelessly cleaning the villa everyday and on 3 occasions brining in breakfast for us. Chandana Went above and beyond we went on 3 excursions with him. One of the nicest people ever.

The villa itself is great, 4 spacious bedrooms, more well-maintained grounds, a pool that is taken care of every morning. The house was cleaned every other day, with a change of towels. The kitchen has everything you need, dishes, a fire pans, upon arrival there was egg milk salt oil. Washing machine is also available. Among the disadvantages: we were from the middle to the end of April 2025, the non-season began there were very strong waves and our beach did not meet our expectations at all, immediately after the steps there was no sand, as we saw in the photo, but the huge blocks of rocks under which the ocean is raging, that is, to go down these stones in the right vilas 6. We were with 3 kids and it was very problematic for us. After talking to the staff, they explained to us that at this time it is always so, there is a low tide and the sand goes away, then returns. The conclusion of the villa is great but it is recommended to visit in season Separately, I want to note the driver(he also washed the pool in the morning) drove us everywhere, was very patient.

Beautiful and serene stay.

The villa is set amidst dense, lush greenery, that gave us a feeling of being in a forest. We spent hours at the two pools every day and had an amazing time. Joseph, the family patriarch, who lives a couple of hours away, came to the villa to just help us check-in. Thank you sir! Kintoo, who lives abroad, was always responsive and helpful. We had a restful time in the large balcony every day. I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful collection of books on travel and nature. The air-conditioning works very well. The tuktuk driver Sajith was super helpful. The villa is a bit remote and it is only the place that is being offered - so one must buy groceries and other provisions beforehand. Sajith is always ready to come to the villa and take you wherever you want to go, including grocery shopping. Sri Lanka probably has frequent power outages. Be ready to embrace that. The pools are a cool refuge when the power goes out. Thank you Kintoo, Joseph and family for hosting us

The house, the garden simply fantastic! The kitchen is a little small, but everything you need is there. The "gardener " cooked something for us in the evening, super delicious. The two guard dogs😂, two dear decent cuddles, welcomed us joyfully every day, our children as well as we were really happy with the two.

great stay, with the sweetest father as a neighbor. For example, he always comes with a light shining when you arrive/depart in the evening. Therefore, you can always ask questions, but he leaves you alone and it is completely private. We will definitely come back here!
