Holiday rentals with a patio in Paje

Wanted a place to chill in Zanzy for 2 weeks. Kept searchingAirbnb for weeks. Millions of places out there but this unit kept coming up took it. No regrets at all. Yolanda’s place was fantastic. Looks exactly like the pictures, great location, super clean, safe, friendly staff, giant pool, amazing outdoor terrace for chilling. Yolanda was super responsive. Will 💯not hesitate to return

I would like to extend a huge thank you to the host for everything! Unfortunately, the trip was marred by a child's illness and had to be hospitalized in Nairobi. The host provided invaluable support, from finding medication to helping with the logistics of things. I wish them all the best! Just the human attitude and compassion cannot be appreciated in this review.....

Guru Guru Garden Houses are a small complex of holiday homes, each a bit different. We stayed in "Macondo house" with 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. The mattresses were rather hard, there were different types of pillows to chose from, linen were spotlessly clean. Windows are unglazed, but covered with mosquito nets, there are wooden blinders that can be closed. This is rather a norm in Zanzibar and provides great natural ventilation, but if you are a light sleeper, you may be woken up by the sound of birds or a rain storm (we had quite a few during our stay). The bathrooms can best be described as practical (don't expect luxury equipment and fancy interior), but clean and fully adequate. The kitchen was nice and fully equipped - fridge, gas oven, sink, a wide variety of utensils, a blender, etc. There is also a great patio. The pictures are 100% accurate and present the house well. There is a safe for valuables you can lock. The complex is guarded 24/7. A great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Big windows letting in loads of light and right on top of the beach with the extra added bonus of being able to use the hotel facilities attached to the property, as its part of the hotel complex. Alex, the liason was very helpful and friendly. There are only two things I would mention that I personally believe would improve this Air BnB and they are - 1 - A TV for those chill nights in. 2 - A Microwave. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend it.

El alojamiento era como se describía en un barrio tranquilo y a 30 metros de la playa, Ovi nos envió varias recomendaciones y la verdad que estuvimos muy a gusto. Por poner algo malo diría las hormigas, había muchísimas entre los enchufes y por toda la encimera de la cocina, ya que nos tocó la parte de abajo, ojalá nos hubiera tocado arriba, tuvimos que luchar con ellas bastante. Quitando eso, el resto súper bien. Es un lugar recomendable

Our stay in Paje was unforgettable. Just a 7-minute walk from the beach, the home offered peace and convenience. Airport pick-up and drop-off were smooth, and every morning began with a hearty breakfast of fresh fruit, fish, milk, eggs, nuts, and sourdough. Judith, our host, was fantastic—communication was easy, and she kindly recommended a nearby hospital when our daughter fell ill. The Balinese-inspired interiors were calming and beautiful, adding a special touch to our stay. Our daughters adored the bathtub and wouldn’t stop talking about it on the way home! The bedding was pure luxury, with pillows so soft you could melt in them. My wife and I spent peaceful afternoons by the pool, truly relaxed. This place was a dream, and we’ll definitely be back!

The complex was big and there was a nice big pool like the beach. I could see many foreign guests in other units, and the entrance was thoroughly guarded and patrolled by security guards, so I felt safe. I checked in with the guidance of the house manager, Elizabeth. She kindly introduced the house and responded immediately if I needed anything. Also, the few fruits she brought me were unexpected and surprising hospitality. There is a lounge in the complex where you can order drinks and simple bakery items. The house was exactly as described, everything was clean, and I was impressed by the owner's design sense. The only downside is that it is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Other than that, everything was comfortable and good. And I was worried because I saw a notice that construction was in progress, but in reality, we didn't even notice that construction in progress haha. It was peaceful and comfortable stay. Cynthia's home was perfect for our family. Home was exactly as what was in the picture. Upstairs area of home was open, bright, and welcoming. Ester rhe housekeeper was very accommodating, what ever we needed, she would make it happen. The clear glistening pool was my getaway spot. The home was in a quiet area, but only a few minutes from shopping, this was the perfect location for us. I would definitely recommend this home.

Magnifique maison au cœur de la nature. Construite récemment la maison de Manuela est très confortable et son jardin avec piscine très agréable! Manuela et son équipe sont très à l’écoute pour que tout soit agréable pendant le séjour. A noter que la maison est à 12mn à pieds de la mer. Une belle promenade sur un petit chemin bordé de palmiers.

Nakudenda House is a nice, spacious house in the heart of Jambiani village. The beach is just a stone's throw away. Lots of nice restaurants around. The house offers comfortable, large bedrooms. It's nicely decorated and has all you need to enjoy wonderful Jambiani. Eta and Romain are very nice hosts, very proactive and try to solve any problems as quickly as possible. Communicating with them was very easy and they go out of their way to make your stay a nice one.

Regina war eine super freundliche Gastgeberin und macht alles möglich für die großen und kleinen Gäste. Sie ist eine liebevolle Persönlichkeit. Sie gibt gute Tipps und organisiert Touren und kann diese speziell auf die eigenen Wünsche ausrichten. Bei ihr fühlt man sich wie zu Hause. Wir als kleinen Familie fühlten uns sehr wohl und würden jederzeit wieder kommen um bei Regina zu wohnen. Zum Strand sind es nur 5Minuten zu Fuss und dort gibt es jede Menge kleine Hotels mit Restaurants oder auch eine kleine Abkühlung in einem Pool als Tagesgast. Der Ort ist total schön und ruhig und nicht so überlaufen. Es gibt viele kleine Stände um Obst und Gemüse zu kaufen. Liebe Regina herzlichen Dank für alles, auch das du uns das richtige Leben dort gezeigt hast. Es war uns eine Ehre deine Gäste gewesen zu sein und wir kommen dich wieder einmal besuchen.

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Resort. Die Villa ist hervorragend, sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Lage wunderbar zur Meerseite und den Pools. Ania und Ali waren stets erreichbar und halfen sofort bei etwaigen Problemen, wie den bekannten Stromausfällen. Die Touren, die Ali anbot waren auch sehr zu empfehlen. Das Restaurant Vorort bot eine tolle, abwechslungsreiche Küche und hohe Professionalität. Lediglich das Baden im Meer war etwas schwierig, da den Großteil des Tages Ebbe herrschte. Dafür waren die Pools eine gute Ausweichmöglichkeit und stets sehr sauber. Der Aufenthalt war eine großartige Erfahrung und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser traumhaften Unterkunft auf Zanzibar! Der private Pool war ein absolutes Highlight und die gesamte Unterkunft war genauso schön wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern gezeigt. Alles war sauber und gut gepflegt, sodass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen konnten. Die Kommunikation mit Claudia war hervorragend – sie war jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt, was in der heißen Jahreszeit etwas herausfordernd sein kann. Dennoch können wir diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Séjour très agréable, maison confortable, grandes chambres avec ventilateur et climatisation pour l'une d'elles, super terrasse abritée et beau jardin Présence rassurante du gardien pour 2 femmes seules, communication pas toujours facile mais possible de passer par l'hôte qui est très réactif Surprises par la première coupure d'électricité aléatoire du quartier, mais ensuite on s'habitue et cela fait partie de la vie locale et on s'adapte Réelle proximité de la plage et des bars restaurant du village Magnifique plages et lagon, petit village sympathique avec une population accueillante Taxis disponibles pour excursions et courses si besoin Nous sommes ravies de notre séjour chez Waziri et prêtes à y revenir dès que possible !

Communication with host Yussuf was seamless and timely. His responses were clear and concise. He gave us a good discount for our family of 4. The co host pendo was super kind. She checked us in and also took us to the pier restaurant for that much needed dinner by the ocean. She also recommended places to shop at in case we needed to. The caretaker was also polite, present and alert. The place is very clean, quiet and most of all I appreciated the private pool. Thank you Yussuf and Pendo

The apartment is on a private compound with a lagoon pool, a playground and a common area with a work space. Perfect for remote work. Everything in the apartment is of great quality and in top condition, the staff at the facility is absolutely lovely and welcoming and there is a little balcony. I can definitely recommend staying there. It's a short walk to the beach and many, many restaurants just around the corner

Incredible, serene and homely place in a quite neighbourhood with good security. Neat home, great furniture. I really enjoyed making breakfast in that kitchen, it had all the utensils we needed. And for the first time after a long while l got to eat breakfast made by my little brother, imagine. What an experience we had. Abdalrahman is a great host, always willing to assist and promptly responded to us. He even gave us good recommendations. Not only was Abdalrahman a great host, what made it even more special was that he partnered us with a great and reliable driver. We were picked up from the airport and that was the start of a memorable week. Yussuf (driver) took us to all the remarkable places and was also so helpful in breaching the language gap when we had to deal with other locals, he even taught us a bit of Swahili. We're definitely coming back!!!

We enjoyed staying at Rashad’s place. It’s close to everything and just a walking distance to the beach. There are other restaurants around the place. Cleaners comes every morning if you want cleaning. Rashid is a nice person and easy to communicate with as well. I highly recommend this place to other Airbnb community.

Clean, comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in Fumba. Reliable power, fast Internet and good desk. Lots of shops and eating places nearby

A good place for a one-night stay. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Walkable to go to the beach and go eat. Nice house manager Mr Jerry. The place doesn’t have WiFi (even though it is advertised), which is tough if you don’t have a local SIM card, and are depending on WiFi for coordinating your trip. Remember to bring bath towels, soap, and toilet paper, as there are no essentials included in this listing. Also the area is prone to electricity blackouts, so if you’re used to staying in hotels with generators, be prepared when staying in any AirBnB in Zanzibar, for blackouts.

Mon mari et moi avons adoré notre séjour. nous avons passé plus de 7 semaines. La piscine lagon était très parfaite, la propreté était partout. Nous avons apprécié la femme de ménage chaque semaine. La seule chose difficile à été d'aller à la plage. Les routes sont horribles et pas évidentes et pleines d'eau quand il pleut. Trouver de quoi manger aussi fut un peu difficile, manque de produits. Nous avons trouvé d'excellents restaurants. Dans l'ensemble nous avons eu une excellente expérience.
