The Forest House sits in front of a private Lake Sanksaare in between 120-year-old pine trees. The house can be heated by a wood burning stove with a beautiful glass door to enjoy the flames. The Sauna has juniper ceiling giving an amazing aroma. Washing is done in the old-school method with a bowl of warm water and mug to shower oneself. There is plenty of dry firewood on the premise all included in the booking price. The lights lead to a romantic outdoor toilet cabin 15m from the house.

This place is close to the beach and family-friendly activities. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Its an ideal location for summer/ autumn vacation since the house situated on a shore of lake Kirikumäe. House is surrounded with beautiful nature and it's perfect place where you can rest your mind. We rented this apartment because it is close to the border between Estonia and Russia. It is only 12 km. The apartment is spacious and has a sauna. It is very quiet and surrounded by green Estonian forests. Our goal was to stay close to the border, but for those who love nature and want to visit Estonia it is a great place. The host is very kind and helpful.

The place was as advertised! It had pretty much everything you need for a couple of nights stay. The place has its own patio which is a big plus. Neighbours were quiet and communication with host was quick and easy. Location was a bit far from the centre and the neighborhood it’s in doesn’t have places to eat, so keep that in mind! It’s pretty close to the National Musem though, which is good.

Staying at Kersti's house was like staying at a friend's house. As soon as we arrived there, there was a warm welcome, we said we would like to cook some food and she gave us everything we needed. She even gave us chantarelles that she had picked the same day! The sauna was hot, we really enjoyed it. There is a nice sitting area outside, perfect for listening to some music or the sounds of nature. The house was lovely and cosy, with everything we could need. Kertu has collected books and leaflets about Setumaa and the area, which we found interesting and useful. We had a really good sleep there, there is a really good and peaceful energy. The surroundings were lovely, very close to the beach and forests. We even picked some chantarelles when on our way back home. Kersti is an amazing host, its great to stay in a Seto household and we would like to visit again when in the area :) We really recommend staying here!
