Holiday rentals with a kayak in Palo Pinto County

Really enjoyed our stay and we look forward to coming back this fall. Beautiful place on the lake!

The house was very comfortable and accommodating for our whole group. It’s right on the water and made for easy entertainment for the kids (swimming, floating and kayaking in front of the house) while the adults were able to grill out and relax on the back porch and back yard. We also enjoyed renting the boat! Great weekend all around. Wade was very proactive with information on the house and responsive with any questions we had. Very much recommend.

The space was perfect for our four families and the separation of bedrooms with bathrooms was perfect. The outdoor space was perfect for the kiddos and screened in porch offered so much flexibility for morning coffee space, dinner as a big family without flies, and shade during the hot part of the days. We hope to be back next year!

We enjoyed our quick weekend stay at this beautiful lake house. This was the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever visited. The host was super responsive and understanding. We had a little issue getting in, as it was past midnight and the code wasn’t working, but she was immediately available and able to help us remotely. The house was spacious and nicely designed. The backyard/lake views are stunning. We enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub, grill, and fire pit. We hope to book again with Smart Vacation Rentals in the future!

This was the perfect location for our baseball vacation. Close to ballpark. My boys loved fishing and swimming off pier. The house was equipped with everything we needed to cook or bbq. Chris quickly responded to any questions I had. I highly recommend to anyone traveling to Rocker B for baseball or if you just want a relaxing trip to the Lake. The sunsets are amazing!

Lasterday exceeded our expectations. The space was exactly what we needed for our annual family trip. It was extremely clean. We had beautiful views of the lake right at Hells Gate. The house had everything we needed including good quality cookware for meals, kayaks, a Lilly pad, and floats for the lake. There was so much space that everyone could enjoy alone time or gather together for games and family time. The host was quick to respond when communicating. The house had direct access to the lake so we were able to float in the water and easily come right back up to the house. Our family all agreed we’ll be booking this house again in the future. I can’t imagine a better house and location.

We had a wonderful stay at the lake! The house exceeded our expectations…the photos do not do it justice. This might have been the most well-stocked Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. They have everything you need in the kitchen, from utensils to spices, and even some cooking staples. There were generous towels, linens, comfy beds and plenty of pillows. We even found beach towels for the lake. The real treat is the outside area. There is a beautiful outdoor kitchen space that is convenient for grilling. The dock was our favorite place at the house, however. It overlooks a mostly natural part of the lake and provided us with the most magical sunsets. We spent hours there between boat/jet ski rides lounging, fishing, and just soaking it from the two porch swings and comfy folding chairs (again, provided by the hosts). My sister and I took advantage of the provided kayaks, but didn’t get a chance to use the paddle boards as the water was a bit choppy during our stay. Excellent stay!

One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had! The riverfront ranch setting in Mineral Wells was peaceful and beautiful. The decor was charming and cozy, and the home had everything I could ask for—from a fully stocked kitchen with top-notch cookware, to pet-friendly touches like treats and toys for my pups. Fishing in the backyard was amazing—spotted gar were biting nonstop! Can’t wait to come back.

The house was just as aspected! The back patio is a great place to spend the evening and the fishing is great off the dock at night. It’s located just a short drive or boat ride to the hungry fox and possum hollow. It’s off Broadway so you don’t have to worry about to rough of waves even on the windiest days. We will definitely be back! The host was proactive and made checking in and out easy!

Our family of 15 people had a wonderful stay at the Cabins of Palo Pinto! We loved the patio space where you could hang out with your whole group to play games and eat together!! The 6 kids (ages between 9-15) loved playing in the lake and utilizing the kayaks that were provided! We loved all the special extras that host Casandra provided like outdoor games, dish soap, towels, some kitchen essentials, bug spray, firewood ect….. We had a small issue during our stay and host Cassandra was quick to respond and had a person out quickly to fix it!!! It was the perfect mix of outdoor camping experience with the comfort for each individual family to get away in the air conditioning with a bed!!
