Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pambula Beach

This place surpassed our expectations for a girls weekend in a location we hadn’t explored before. This place was so cozy and the beds and linens were amazing. We had a fantastic time sitting by the fire and relaxing. Couldn’t recommend more for a couple of friends or a couples weekend. Look forward to returning with Hubby and enjoying this house and region again. Thanks for such a providing a really comfy, warm eclectic experience.

Me and my friends had a great weekend and excellent accomodation. Easy drive to town and very private. We didn’t have cook at all but I would like to comment on a well supplied kitchen. Both lounges are comfortable and cozy. Outdoor areas are great. Rooms and beds are comfortable. A great place to stay and surely will be back here. Thank you Tony and Rachel. ✅

We fell in love with the photos of BoxHouse… then our expectations were exceeded! Hands down one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve ever had. Liz is the perfect host: so friendly & caring, providing quality, thoughtful touches throughout the property. Everything in the home & at the property is of the highest standard, we were so comfy & cozy & spoilt over our winter long weekend stay. Highlights were the sunrise from the loft bedroom, the local kangaroos & birds, grilling on the bbq, reading & sipping a cup of tea as sunlight poured through the huge windows, yoga & cheese platters on the sun-drenched porch - everything was pure bliss! The home is so unique & interesting & we loved reading about the build & the town of Tanja in the books provided. We had a 5+ star experience & highly recommend a stay at the gorgeous BoxHouse.

Leanne’s place completely exceeded our expectations — it truly blew us away. The property is beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. All the amenities and appliances worked perfectly, though having a laundry dryer would’ve made it even more convenient. But the real showstopper is the lake — it felt like our own private, attached sanctuary. Whether you're just gazing at it or taking a refreshing dip, it adds an incredible, peaceful touch to the entire experience. The extra snacks and food items provided were such a thoughtful gesture — a cherry on top of an already perfect stay. And yes, it even has a personal lemon tree! Hands down, one of the best stays I’ve had. Can’t recommend it enough.

We stayed here while working in the area and couldn’t have been happier. The home was spotless, well equipped, and really comfortable after long days on site. It’s in a great location, close to everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with and made the whole process smooth. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others traveling for work or leisure!

Bangalee would have to be the best appointed house we have stayed in. Karyn has thought of everything down to the kids sized plates and nightlights. Our two families of Nana and Pa, mum, dad and 2 active young children felt it was the perfect place to enjoy each other’s company. We could find a quiet space when needed and the secure back garden was great for outside play. Perfecto.

We absolutely loved our stay at Whale Tail! It was just what we needed and ideal for my husband and I (and our labrador) for a stop over during our drive up the coast. Thanks again for fitting us in Andrew :)

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay. Grateful we could have our dog with us. The deck at the front and enclosed yard at the back were very handy for us to sit with our pooch and enjoy the outdoors safely. Quality fitout and comfy beds with all quality amenities provided were most appreciated. We will definitely be back!

We had the most incredible stay at this cabin! The location is absolutely unbeatable — just steps from a stunning beach with crystal-clear water and golden sand. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having morning coffee with ocean views felt like a dream. The cabin itself was cozy with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It felt private and peaceful, but still close enough to explore nearby cafes and attractions. Couldn’t have asked for a better beach escape — we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It really did have everything we needed for our mini Easter break. The kitchen/house was so well equipped, they really had thought of everything to make our stay relaxing. The house was lovely inside, and the pool area was a massive hit with the family. We would definitely recommend staying here in the beautiful Merimbula.

Lovely location right near the boardwalk. Nice views of the bushland and water from the house. the pool was fantastic! The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. Kelly super responsive and friendly when we needed to reach out to her. The only feedback would be that WiFi would have been great!! Thanks for a great stay

Beautiful peaceful property on the edge of town with lots of outdoor space. Our kids loved the pool, cubby and fire pit! Beautiful beach just down the bush track. And the house is very well set up.

Colleen's place is great for families with dogs. Big TV, good internet, hot shower, and a brisk 8 minute walk to the beach, it was exactly what we wanted! And unlike some other listings, the house is *actually* dog friendly - if your dogs love sitting on the couch (like ours do), Colleen was perfectly happy to let us cover the couch with a couple spare sheets (which we brought ourselves). The only thing missing was a pantry - but we probably cook more than most visitors. Will definitely be back!

A fabulous cottage in a stunning location - we spent time during the day just enjoying the view and the time at night watching the stars. We were fortunate to see deer, a wallaby and a wombat during our stay. Steve, Alli and Craig were excellent hosts who communicated well before and during our stay, and were very thoughtful about the little extras that make a stay feel memorable. We’d love to come back!

Loved our stay in the tiny house. Great spot in the bush away from town but close enough to walk. It is a small space but fine for me and my dog. Alice was super lovely. We enjoyed our stay.

We felt so at home and completely relaxed here. The vibe is very hygge. Beautiful views and comfortable beds. Perfectly positioned in a quiet area that’s an easy walk to beach and river mouth. Morning coffee cart at the Lions beach was fantastic otherwise the drive to Pambula for coffee at Toast cafe was completely worth it. Perfect place to bring a dog with a dog-friendly beach very close and an outdoor hose ready for washing off the sand.

Stayed at this gorgeous place for 4 nights! A great stay for young families and dogs - fully fenced, very private and secure, heaps of space. Loved being able to see the water from the front balcony and we watched a family of kangaroos from the back deck! Place is actually bigger than the photos suggest - split levels. Very quiet neighbourhood, a beautiful place to relax. Hosts were very responsive and helpful when we needed

Had the best stay, perfect location and very dog friendly, the backyard is almost as good as the location. Heaps of options for areas to walk. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

It is indeed a tiny house but it had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and the views from the deck. It was so relaxing and highly recommended it.

As soon as we arrived at Edna's we felt on holiday. The sound of the ocean, the beautiful view from the bedrooms and living area, the coastal decor. It felt like we had gone to a friend's holiday home for the week. The beds were comfortable with high quality linen. The kitchen was well-stocked (just missing a couple of wine glasses!). An excellent selection of DVDs, board games and books. The beach was an easy drive or walk (the dog off-leash beach is the closest one to Edna's and has a coffee cart in the mornings) and we swam every day. Merimbula is 5 mins away. Our dog loved lazing on the deck in the sun. Rob was an excellent host with easy communication and great tolerance for us breaking a window almost immediately on arrival - which meant we got to know the friendly local glaziers too. We will be back at Edna's later this year - thanks so much Rob.
