This is now our “home” away from home. This is our 5th visit to Joel ‘s beautiful and peaceful place, like our sanctuary, waken up by the sound of the birds in the morning and enjoying the blue and clean water of swimming pool. We barely needed to get out of the house and when we did, the beach was just few minutes away. There is no other place we trust to fit our needs better than Joel’s house. We are already planning our next trip and cannot wait for it soon.

Nice secure, and clean location. The pictures are not 100% accurate but overall it is a very nice apartment. Not A Villa with a pool attachment. You cannot see the pool from the apartment it is a community pool not a private pool. The downstairs living room has a patio with an ocean view, also the upstairs master has a balcony with an ocean view. The Patio furniture is different from the pics. I think an update to the pics and descriptions will help this host especially at the rates he is expecting.

Apartment as described. Perfect for a stay in Dakar with children, we went to the beach on foot every day and everything is within reach. Very attentive host. I recommend

My wife and I had an exceptional stay at Ali's place. We greatly appreciated its flexibility, it allowed us to do an early check-in, which greatly facilitated our arrival. Ali embodies Senegalese hospitality perfectly, with warm and caring attention throughout our stay. We will be back without hesitation and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover Dakar in excellent conditions.

Gabriel's studio in Dakar, Cité Mourtada, spacious, clean. The location is quiet, close to the exclusive hyper market and VDN, making it easy to get around the city. Gabriel is always available and very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Alioune’s . The place is in a great location within Dakar, you’re very close to the monument and about a 7-10 min drive to many restaurants. Although there are also many restaurants within walking distance of the space. The views from the apartment are great but warning there are about 7 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. This can be tiring after a long day. The air conditioning works but it takes time to cool down the room. If you open all the windows and doors of the apartment the breeze and sunlight are lovely. Wifi was perfect and water pressure was good as well. The apartment is ample space for two people and was cleaned very well while there. Sane the host is super responsive and helpful if you need anything. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend. Thank you Alioune and Sané for helping us during our time here. Dakar is a magical place

This place was was great and exceeded my expectations! It was very comfortable and I felt right at home. In addition to that, Max was easily the best Airbnb host I have had so far, and I use Airbnb a lot. He was very kind, helpful, and responsive. On my first full day he even had someone bring me a delicious lunch on him! Which was so nice! This place gets 10 stars from me👍👍. I highly recommend it.

Very nice, comfortable house. Very well decorated. Large and very well maintained pool. Helpful and discreet caretaker. Recommended without hesitation.

We spent 5 days in the house. It was very nice. Abdou is a very responsive caretaker who took great care of us. And Fatou the lady of the house is a great cook. She prepared some great food for us. As soon as we needed something, she was very responsive too. Two extra people! I recommend it.

Beautiful house, ideally located close to the lagoon, in a beautifully wooded environment. The accommodation and furniture are a little old but nevertheless functional. I have never seen, in Senegal, sanitary facilities with such a good water supply; it was greatly appreciated. Guy and Amy were also flexible with check-in and check-out times, and Zoul, the caretaker, was very kind and available. We'll be happy to go back!

An unforgettable stay in a beautiful Home! Everything was perfect: the hospitality, the comfort, and especially the presence of Alpha, the caretaker, who was exceptional. Always available, smiling and attentive — a real plus for the stay. The beach is only 10 minute walk, and the environment is peaceful and pleasant. Shops and restaurants a stone's throw away, everything is within easy reach. I recommend this house without a second thought!

The place was as described. Morcoumba, the manager is lovely-- very helpful and kind--and he prepares delicious food! It would have been helpful to have a pin of the location (especially if you don't speak French) but we had no problems because Mor helped us.

We had a lovely stay at this villa. The villa is very well arranged, the garden is beautiful, well maintained and relaxing... Benjamin and Salie are adorable, Benjamin is always available when needed and Salie is radiant. We'll be back:)

A beautiful green and flowery haven of peace where tranquility is absolute 🙏both by the beautiful pool and in the comfortable accommodations on offer!It feels good ,soothed with this chance to be able to reach the typical and lively shopping center of the village very quickly. Make sure to go to the sea and more particularly to the Lagoon (wild gem of Somone ),so walk a little and you are there in wonder.Kind and very discreet hosts ✨✨will be there to welcome you with their kindness and joie de vivre. We had a great weekend (2 nights) in Popenguine thanks to the AirBnB! Next to the beach and national park (which we took advantage of for a short family hike). Only nuisance: many, lots of mosquitoes inside the house upon arrival! and not enough spray/anti-moutisk products. Remember to bring your sprays;) Otherwise, excellent value!! To be redone:)
