The Stone House between the Streams

While staying here, you will get to drive over a little bridge and past a winding stream to get to our historic stone house where you will stay. The original structure was built in 1758. Out in the country with Amish neighbors all around, you will be delighted with the peaceful environment created by the little streams, rustic barn, and buggies going by on the road. The property use to be a winery with it's own vineyards. The house was where the vintner lived.

I stayed with Jim for a few days on our way back to North Carolina from a Maine vacation. I could not have made a better choice. First of all the location is absolutely wonderful. Morgantown avoids Lancaster's congestion, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful with rolling hills and farms everywhere. If Lancaster and the Amish Country is your reason for visiting, you cannot do better than this location. Jim's condo is very nice. It's extremely clean and neat, with a spotless bathroom. The bedroom is very nice, and the bed is great. The description of the property was very accurate, and directions to the property were perfect. Jim went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable. Most of the time while in the condo we were relaxing in the living room, which Jim encourages his guests to use. He was absolutely the most thoughtful and kind AirBnB host I've stayed with, and it's a great value. You will not be disappointed here, and you might make a new friend.

This was my favorite air b&b thus far. I could see myself living in this apartment. So inviting and felt like home. Bedroom was a favulous large size with bathriom and huge walk in closet. Siting area was lovely and i loved the kitchen. Central air was fabous. 10 minutes from my family who i was visiting. Will stay here again 100%. Love love love.

As someone who has always been enchanted by stone buildings it was a special treat for me to stay in a really lovely, well maintained stone house on a quiet country road. Jacqueline is an excellent host who is very knowledgeable about the local area and generous in recommending places to eat and things to do.
