Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Parque Florestal da Tijuca

Wonderful place, people and the breakfeast is a great bonus. Overall a great value plus its very very safe.

This was our first trip to Brazil, and we spent four days at Charles' home in Rio. It was simply a wonderful time. The rooms (from which, there are three to choose), were clean, spacious and comfortable. They all are directly accessible from a lovely garden terrace overlooking the beautiful valley and mountains of Rio, straight up to the breathtaking statue of the Christ!!  Charles' creative use of space has provided every amenity you could possibly need to make his house your temporary home.  With a fully covered outdoor kitchen, two marble picnic tables and two BBQ grills (all of which, is for your personal use), you may find yourself struggling to choose between going out on the town for dinner, or running down to the local market to grab some fresh fish and vegetables and a nice bottle of Brazilian Moscato and enjoying a home cooked candle-lit dinner under the stars.  However, if you do decide to head into town for the night (or day), you are just minutes by foot from Botafogo Beach with views of the Yacht Club and Sugerloaf mountain, or by taxi to the sands of Copacabana and Ipanema beaches and the endless shopping and fine dining establishments between them. In short, we can't imagine a better way to have visited Rio, Brazil, or for that matter, South America for the first time.  Charles was a wonderful host and went well above and beyond to see to our every need and comfort. We will definitely be telling our family and friends not to mention returning ourselves.  But more than that, we might just bring a few of them along with us next time... or maybe we should just keep Charles' little slice of heaven to ourselves!!!

We weren’t able to stay at Vera’s airbnb, but even so she has been incredibly sweet and helpful!! She makes you feel at home!

The stay was excellent! The ease of access plus the proximity to Lapa made it much easier to get to and from the various points of Rio. I was very well received by the team, who answered any questions I might have. As already mentioned directly with them, it will certainly be where I will stay when I return to Rio!

Staying at paulos was simply perfection, especially because of the host himself. From the minute we entered we felt at home, a beautiful, peaceful, wonderful home right in the middle of rio. Paulo was kind, caring, attentive, and did more than any other host we ever had to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Next time we come we are going right to paulos home! Thank you. Walter's place is very close to Prainha, where there was the event we were going to participate and so it was great to stay here!!

Local very well located, Alexandre is a wonderful host and makes you feel at home. When I return to Rio, I will stay there again. I highly recommend it!

As described in the listing , Knez Lourdes is an extremely helpful and welcoming host. Me and my family felt at home ,we were very well received , I have no words to describe such kindness and reception that we had. The place is very quiet even though it is within a community. We will surely come back more often !!Jesus always bless!!!

Beautiful place with a lot of charm and dedication, surrounded by an environment that transports to the nature of Rio de Janeiro within the same city. The hosts were very hoapitalary and attentive, at all times concerned with even the smallest detail. The room was beautiful, very cozy and impeccable. It also has rooms where you can share, including a wonderful pool. Totally recommended 👌🏻

We went as a couple and found that Urca is a great place to live in/stay in Rio, a quiet neighborhood and reasonably close to everything (within what is possible in a city the size of Rio de Janeiro). The apartment is also great, spacious, comfortable, complete, in a beautiful house, super well decorated and with a great vibe. The only negative point was the bathroom box, which dropped water out of the bath space. If they solve this box issue, the apartment is perfect. Service was also great, polite and attentive, and we had a specific demand that the Host was very proactive to help us. We return to stay for sure.

I stayed on New Year's Eve. Place is beautiful and huge. All very clean, breakfast gives satisfactory breakfast, extremely kind and polite staff. Thoughtful & respectful host. Thanks for the hospitality and I highly recommend it

We loved Dacia's house, I think the photos do not reflect how nice and comfortable it is, the accommodation is full of nature, semi jungle, upstairs there is a pool and a spectacular view, it is located in Santa Teresa which is a place with a lot of artistic waves, with small local restaurants and nightlife every day, in addition to being very safe, we will return and recommend to all our acquaintances the house of Dacia, in addition she is super relaxed, friendly and willing, they have some very good breakfasts

Dacia and Desiree were very kind to us and welcomed us in the best way possible. We had a problem with the previous stay, which we had to leave urgently, and they told us we could go without us letting them know well in advance. At the Dacia stay we felt contained, in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Desiree's breakfast is delicious, and the room was spacious and comfy. We had a small problem with the hot water in the shower, but Dacia gave us an alternative and the issue was resolved quickly. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel surrounded by kind, friendly, and attentive people. The neighborhood is very beautiful. Hopefully we can go back :)

Amazing stay, everything perfect, the staff is incredible

Quiet beach, safe neighborhood, the region lacks a bit of an option. Excellent hosting, room with a wonderful view, very cozy beds, we got everything very clean. We use the common area with barbecue and feel at home. The only downside is lack of parking and difficult access, which is the difficulty of all the bed and breakfasts in the area.

I stayed at CasaJomo Art at the very end of my time in Rio, and I genuinely wish I had found it sooner! The neighborhood had a charming, small-community feel, free from the usual tourist crowds, which made it even more special. The property itself was perfect—beautifully maintained, with spacious and private rooms. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit and delicious offerings each morning. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible family who runs it. Their hospitality is unmatched; they welcomed me with open arms, making me feel safe, cared for, and completely at home. It was clear they simply wanted me to have the best experience possible, and they went above and beyond to make that happen. Would absolutely stay here again!

We loved the stay. Beautiful bed and breakfast (not included) tasty and polished. The staff are very helpful. The neighborhood is beautiful, with many restaurants but difficult to access since many ubers and taxis did not accept running to get to and from the neighborhood. What's more, we love the experience.
