Tiny house holiday rentals in Parry Sound District

This was a perfect cottage for a family stay! Everything that we needed was available, and the waterfront was beautiful, accessible and had great access to outdoor equipment and recreation. There were lots of other families too - some cottage owners who made us feel very welcome - so my niece was able to play with other kids. Thanks for a great stay!

What a gem. This is a beautifully rustic spot in the woods for a gentle getaway on the water. There’s a bit of a scramble up a hill from the brand new dock (with amazing swimming and lovely afternoon sun!) to a sweet little cabin - everything you need for a comfier-than-camping holiday. There’s all the kitchen basics you need, and the wood stove makes it super cozy. The lake is quiet and the neighbours friendly. It’s a great spot for a lazy day in the dock, or a more adventurous day trip into Massasauga provincial park. Geoff was very responsive when the power went out and offered to come up to fix it right away. But we preferred to spend our last night in the warm glow of candlelight and wood stove. Highly recommend.

Lovely place and lovely hosts - across from a river and a park, impeccably clean, very comfortable, and some of the best and most welcoming communication ever. Huntsville is a dreamy place with lots of walking trails and restaurants. It was a beautiful late spring getaway.

The cabins were beautiful with little artsy touches and very comfortable. The hosts thought of everything— canoes, clotheslines, brooms, well-equipped kitchen—-it was like visiting distant cousins who just wanted us to enjoy and be happy! Thanks for the welcome note, extra hours, and cornbread too :-)

Location was fantastic. Easy driving distance to towns and trails. A good central location for the places we wanted to go. If you have young children the stairs may be an issue as they are quite steep and hard to navigate in the middle of the night. Upstairs is quite spacious so we took an air mattress and one of our kids slept there while the other took the bed.

Richard's cabin in the woods, like all places of worth, is a hidden gem tucked away in a seemingly endless expanse of forest. It is as far away from civilization as one can get to 2.5 hours from a major city in a first world country. I could visualize HD Thoreau penning 'Walden' sitting here. The candlelit rooms, the potpourri of some weird yet cool objects that adorn the walls, starting a fire, BBQ and the walk to the lake on a full moon night, the trees bathed in the silver moonlight on a day known as Sharad Purnima in my culture, where the nectarine quality of the moon is at its best, are experiences that will stay with me forever.

Great stay! The place had everything we needed and more. It was clean. Furniture and decoration was charming and well thought-out. Jamie and Brian were great hosts - very friendly, welcoming and gave us great recommendations for the area, they were also very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The area is very peaceful, the cabin is well-maintained with beautiful direct views of the lake. You can tell the hosts put a lot of effort into making the experience comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely come back whenever we need an escape from the city!

Clean , cozy place with all the amenities you'll need. Short walk to a public little beach. Even our Molly enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard and local trails. Cheryl R.

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

It was exactly what we were looking for! A disconnect from our fast lives, so beautiful and peaceful. The host made sure we felt home, and the outdoor shower felt redeeming :) A perfect getaway for us away from the sounds of our 9-5 lifestyle

Spent two nights over the long weekend. The loft was nice, clean and cozy. Loved the peaceful kayak ride, exploring around the island, and relaxing sauna at the end of the day. The bathroom had nice hot shower with heated floor with great water pressure. Coffee chats every morning with Diana and Lorn made it even more memorable and special. Can’t wait to return with friends and family in the future.

We very much enjoy the stay at Oda, very comfortable housing, owners are very nice and friendly. We enjoyed the campfire, bbq, kayaking and the hammok. Willing to revisit!

We stayed at the Stillwater Cottages over the thanksgiving long weekend and the location and tiny house are just perfect. Amazing place if you are looking for some peace and quiet and want to be close to nature. We absolutely loved it! Thanks so much.

I visited the A-frame with three of my girlfriends and it was the perfect burnout escape. One of my friends was working remotely while we were there and, when we briefly lost Internet, Amanda was so responsive and helpful. My friends really wanted me to add here how much they appreciated the welcome wine that was left for us. Everything was absolutely perfect, we don't have a single suggestion. My girlfriends and I returned to our busy lives totally refreshed. We would recommend this place (and any other place that Amanda manages because she was just lovely) 1000% and we will be returning!

Found Mike's place very last moment for a weekend getaway and it was everything I could have wanted and more! Mike was super kind and accommodating to our late arrival. He came and met us first thing in the AM and showed us around. The cabin was clean, beds were cozy, and that front bay window gives such an incredible view of this lake. The outdoors, absolutely speechless. The water was crystal clear, great fishing off the dock. Perfect fit any water activities you are looking to do. The neighbours were super friendly, and we felt right at home. We will be back 100%

We really enjoyed our time at Firefly. The cabin has a cozy, rustic charm — you can tell the original structure has some age and character, which adds to the experience. The view from inside beautifully frames the lake, and the dock’s positioning offers all-day sun and stunning sunsets. It was a peaceful and quiet stay, just what we were looking for. The host provided everything we needed, including kitchen essentials, BBQ tools, and fresh linens. The welcome binder was clear and helpful — especially the note about keeping showers short due to the smaller hot water tank. While the cabin is close to a larger dwelling, we still felt like we had our own space thanks to the private lawn and layout. We had a great stay and would love to return to see the fall colours.

I've just moved to Canada and this my first trip away from Toronto. The place, the hosts, the experience... all of them amazing. If you're visiting in October, make sure you bring extra bedding with you as it gets very cold (for a Brazilian lol). I'm definitely coming back.

This airbnb was absolutely lovely. The location, perfect, the decor and appliances updated and in good working order, every kitchen utensil/tool you could imagine. Snacks and coffee were a nice surprise! We were a little disappointed that the bedroom didn’t have a door because it made for less privacy for our toddler, but we made it work the best we could. We totally came over-prepared because we didn’t expect the cottage to be so cozy and supplied! We totally recommend this beautiful Airbnb to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway!

First time ever staying in Kearney. The location was perfect. The host was amazing, and this cottage was absolutely fantastic

The cabin is super cozy, very clean and warm and the futon was surprisingly comfy. Aesthetics are important to me and this was a beautifully curated place that felt very calm in a super peaceful environment. Allie reached out a few days before our arrival letting me know about the park permit pass, and that some parks require advanced booking... I'm so glad about this since Algonquin was sold out sa/su during the long weekend. So we got to go on our last day. They also have a great guide for doing things around the area and we got our THanksgiving meal take out at a local restaurant which was recommended in the guide. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog too, sit around the fire and have a lovely, romantic getaway. We had a great time and visited several provincial parks during our stay. THank you so much for having us!
